Kim Dae Mun @ Concorde Hotel’s Food Court
This Korean eatery, Kim Dae Mum, is a perfect place to satisfy your Korean food cravings here. It is nothing quite like the food served in Korean restaurants here but at least it’s delicious and affordable.
Dining at Orchard can be made affordable too. Thanks to this Korean eatery, Kim Dae Mum, which serves rather authentic Korean food prepared by true Koreans. This is one of the few places in Singapore where you can enjoy authentic Korean food at pocket-friendly prices. As such, this eatery is popular among many.
Best of all, they aren’t stingy with the meat portions. To all meat-lovers out there, this is your paradise. For my Kim Chi-lovers, you are gonna love this place as well.
Spicy Pork Slice Set ($8.00)
The pork slices are spicy and very tender. What I like best about their food here is their homemade kimchi which goes well with rice and the soup.
If you manage to spot a bunch of Korean natives dining at such eateries, you know that this is good stuff. Everyone who went to the food court at the Concorde Hotel today seems to be there just to enjoy Kim Da Mun’s Korean specialities.
Spicy Chicken Soup Set ($6.50)
The soup can be quite spicy for you if you cannot take spicy food. If you are super hungry, this dish will satisfy you. It has many ingredients thrown in – eggs, chicken slices, tofu and vegetables. It is just like having a simplified version of Army Stew. If it is a cold and rainy day, this is that one dish to order.
Sadly, I ain’t really diggin’ into Korean food, Kim Chi, red spicy meat or even… Gangnam.
