Real Fit Singapore : Your Body is your own Gym

The director and personal trainer of Real Fit, Jason Nah has kindly invited me over for a trial workout. It came as timely because I needed to lose the flabs which has built over time from all those food tasting events and food gatherings with friends. 

Our human body is designed to move about freely with great flexibility and coordination. In the gym, instead of moving about freely, we are running on treadmills and doing step-ups like robots in a boring and routine manner which only targeted at certain areas of the body. 
The truth is we can’t really separate our body parts and try to do exercises which only targeted at our round tummies. It just doesn’t work that way. Exercise is about moving the whole body, engaging every muscles and tissues in our body. 
For that particular training session with Jason, he asked me to do a series of metabolic exercises which could help to increase my body’s metabolic rate to burn off more calories.
It looks rather easy at first but  I was exhausted after an hour of training session with him using ViPR and TRX suspension trainer. My whole body was aching the very next day after doing the series of exercise reps. To me, that’s a sign of doing real exercise! I haven’t been fully utilizing all my muscles and fascias in my body for the past few years while exercising!No wonder I haven’t been really losing weight despite exercising. It’s been a long time ever since I experience a body ache.

Real Fit currently has two experienced and well-qualified trainers. They offer services such as body weight and performance personal fitness training powered by TRX suspension trainers, ViPR and kettle bells. Both of them are also specialised in teaching kickboxing and Muay Thai as well. 
It was definitely a fruitful workout session for me where I not only learn how to lose weight healthily but also gaining knowledge about how our body functions and how to do exercise with simple equipment at home. All we need is 4 minutes of exercise per day to keep our heart rate beating healthily. So, don’t go complaining that you do not have time to exercise!
Feeling thirsty after a workout? Don’t forget to replenish your body with fluids to prevent dehydration. There’s a mini beverage bar where you can purchase isotonic drinks and even healthy snack bars. There are also showering facilities in this two-storey fitness centre.

Small Group Personal Training (4-to-1)

(A) Package of 10 one-hour sessions
Valid for 3 months from the start of the first session Package Rate = S$450 (S$45 per session)

(B) Package of 20 one-hour sessions
Valid for 7 months from the start of the first session Package Rate = S$800 (S$40 per session)

Personal Training (1-on-1)

(A) Package of 10 one-hour sessions
Valid for 3 months from the start of the first session Package Rate = S$1,000 (S$100 per session)

(B) Package of 20 one-hour sessions
Valid for 7 months from the start of the first session Package Rate = S$1,800 (S$90 per session)
