Bobbi Brown Beauty Workshop with ELLE

Good Morning ladies!
Bobbi Brown’s launching their new Desert Twilight Collection in the coming autumn!
I was there to check out their new make-up collection at Bobbi Brown’s beauty workshop which is co-organised by ELLE magazine.

Director for Artistry and Education for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Kai Vinson, was there to show us how we could work those beautiful sheer colours from the gorgeous Desert Twilight collection.

This autumn make-up collection is inspired by desert light.

Make-up Tip by Mr. Kai Vinson

After applying blush at the apple of your cheeks, sweep the left-over foundation on your brush over your cheeks to blend out any harsh edges of the blush.
Getting ready for fall?

Can’t wait for autumn to come actually!
It’s a season of red fallen leaves, scarves, trench coats and rosy shades of pink and brown.
Here’s my favourite quote from Bobbie Brown, the owner of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics:
” A strong brow, bedroom eyes, a bump on the nose – these are the features that inspire me. Beauty isn’t about looking perfect. It’s about celebrating your individuality”

The neutral brown shades and shimmering rosy pink shadows are perfect for Asian eyes. These subtle colours are great for contouring the eyes and bringing more definition to the eye area. The colours in the Desert Twilight collection are warm and romantic, absolutely perfect for an evening date.
The Desert Twilight collection consists of:
Desert Twilight Eye Palette
(Eight shadows:A light base shade, 6 medium lid shades and a dark liner shade)
Long-wear Gel Eyeliner
(in Twilight Night Shimmer ink)
Long-Wear Cream Shadow
(in Blue Moon)
Creamy Colour for Lips and Cheeks
(in Pink Tuffle, Honeyed Tea)
Bronzer/Blush Duo
(in Pink Peony illuminating bronzer/Bahama Brown Shimmer Blush)
Lip Gloss
( in Evening Rose, Honeysuckle,Twilight, Pink Sunset, Bronzed Heather,Firefly)
Nail Polish
(in turquoise blue and twilight purple)
Maybe it’s time for me to invest in these make-up tools.

Here’s Mr. Kai Vinson and I.
I love his checkered suit!
Some fingerfood served during the workshop.
Mini quiche and tarts.
Yay! We all get to enjoy eating a Magnum ice-cream too!
You bet, I was pretty hungry after a long day of lectures and tutorials! Thank goodness there were some food served before I head over to Bugis for dinner with friends.
Have fun with make-up during fall!
