Ah Loy Thai’s Phad Thai has a substantial amount of fresh juicy shrimps and other ingredients such as eggs, sprouts and lemongrass. Less noodles but more of fresh ingredients that plumps up the dish.
This isn’t your typical Thai pineapple rice. Even my friend quipped, ” Why isn’t the rice yellow?” Though probably they didn’t add any colouring to the rice, you could taste the pineapple chunks covered with grains of fragrant Thai long grain rice. It almost tasted like Chinese-style stirred fried rice because of its soy sauce fragrance in the rice. Nevertheless, it tasted good as far as I could remember.
