DeeniseGlitz’s Top 5 Brunch Cafes Favourites in Singapore

DeeniseGlitz’s Top 5 Brunch Cafes Favourites in Singapore

I simply adore their Norwegian Egg Benedicts! It’s really plesant to just have coffee and cakes in this brightly-lited cafe with garden-themed furniture and comfy cushioned seats. I’ve yet to try the outlet at Takashimaya but I would definitely visit this place again because it is pretty convenient for me.Another perk about this cafe is the fact that it is quite big and spacious and could house many diners at one time. So you don’t have to fight for a space to get in.

Food for Thought has been popularized by several rave reviews from foodies across Singapore. So it has become one of the famous breakfast/brunch places in town! Be sure to try their red velvet, cranberry scones, pancakes and the items in the dinner menu. I’m pretty sure you will get hook to it especially after you try their triple berry pancakes with gula melaka sauce. However, you might have to queue and wait to satisfy your sweet cravings.

This has got to be one of those French cafes that serves one of the best Egg Benedicts in Singapore! I really vouch for that! Why? It is because their Hollandaise sauce is superb. And when you know that the chef of this cafe can perfectly prepare a sauce which is so difficult to make, you can be sure that the food served here is really something!

This is unpretentious, heart-warming and delicious food served at this cafe. What I really like about this cafe is that they usually change their menu from time to time. So this is one cafe which you could visit over and over again to try out their new food items. My favourites has to be their sherphard’s pie served with cous-cous salad and chips.

This is a pretty new cafe opened this year, just a road across Clarke Quay. My first visit to this cafe was memorable because I couldn’t believe that I finally found a place that serves really good, moist and chocolatey red velvet cake. I was sent straight up to heaven after trying it. However, on my second visit, the red velvet I once had didn’t taste the same. Nevertheless, this place is quiet and serene as it is retreated away from the bustling night activities at Clarke Quay area. The must-order food items are cottage pie and their signature cake, Ad Fab Red velvet cake!
