Love, Chloé by Chloé

Subtle yet unique. It’s in between somewhat girly and yet sophisticatedly feminine at the same time. This scent has perfectly captured the beautiful transition from a precocious girl to a woman who know what she wants, likes and have. The lovely powdery scent blossoms once it sets into your skin. It’s a light and non-invasive scent that draws others to register the scent.

Dear Paris,
There’s something special about you. To others and to, me. The mere mentioned of your name resonates deeply in my heart. I will visit you someday, again.

  Love,
Chloe

Classic is the word to represent my wardrobe, my life and everything. This bottle of rose-tinted scent encapsulates my childhood and the time I spent with my mom. You could say, I was madly in love with this scent. The scent was created in 1938, by perfumer Sophia Grojsman and it was named after YSL’s much adored city, Paris. And perhaps, that explains why I was so madly in love with Paris when I grew up. This city of lights has also given me the most wonderful memories of my life.

Shalimar Parfum Initial by Guerlain

This version of Shalimar takes on a different light as compared to the original heavily-scented Shalimar. Not every nose can appreciate the layers of beautifully coordinated notes that blossoms with time. Patience and love are essentials to seek and discover the hidden message in this flacon. The heart of the scent is revealed after Bergamot transcends. Just like any other timeless parfums, Shalimar leaves a long-lasting cashmere over your skin.
I could never imagine the immensive number of Roses and Jasmines that does into the making of this scent.

Chanel No.5 by Chanel
________________________

Chanel has just launch a new short series of film for Chanel No.5, starring Brad Pitt. It’s a quite a leap from the other commercials and short films done for Chanel No.5 parfum. But it is certainly a daring feat for Chanel to choose man as a spokesperson for it’s iconic perfume. Maybe it was done purposefully, and quite creatively and unexpected, to have paired Brad Pitt with Chanel No.5. The charming and alluring man who thinks that Chanel No.5 is, inevitable.

Need I say how successful Chanel No. 5 is? Ernest Beaux is the nose behind this scent that made iconic over the decades. Writing about Coco Chanel reminds me of the movie I’ve watched a year ago which documented her life as a couturier. She’s inspiring, captivating and exceptionally beautiful in every way. Chanel has recently released a series of films and documentaries about Coco Chanel and the brand itself. Everyone who adores Chanel should watch it. Right now, they are also launching the Chanel Exhibition : The Little Black Jacket in several cities like London,Moscow and Sydney. I really hope they’ve got one in Singapore too!
