Paris Baguette @ Wisma Atria : A Little Korean Bakery

Paris Baguette @ Wisma Atria : A Little Korean Bakery
I guess others, like myself, just couldn’t resist anything that is parisienne or french. The French culture has become a brand itself in Asia. The idea of flying to Paris to visit the Eiffel Tower and have macarons for tea is still a novelty in Asia here. When Korean bakery, Paris Baguette has opened its first store in town, many had patronized this Korean bakery to try out the delicate cakes and pastries.
Sunny Breezy lemon tart is also another popular cake sold here.
Strawberry Short Cake
SGD $7.50
This is one of the popular cakes sold here but I have to admit that it is pretty expensive for a small slice of sponge cake. Sadly, prices are marked up everywhere. Signs of inflation.
If you’re planning to come here on weekends, be sure to come before 11 am to beat the crowd.
Bacon Croissant Brunch
SGD$17
Croissant with mushrooms and bacon, potato wedges and salad
My friend had this bacon croissant brunch set which had really yummy bacons that weren’t too oily.
Hot Dutch Pancakes
SGD$17
With 2 scoops of raspberry-flavoured icecream and assorted fruits
The berries and mango chunks are swimming in the melted pool of cream.
I like the pancake but I’m just not too sure about the pool of melted ice-cream in the dish. It might be way a little too sweet.
GST and service charges are already included in the prices stated.
