Hungry but lazy to head out for a meal?
Home food delivery sounds cool but I’m sick of Pizza Hut and McDonalds.
Want to try something else?
Perhaps sushi, chinese take-outs, pasta, salads or even desserts?
And even food from various cuisines such as Mexican and Indian.
Well, Foodpanda had it all.
Foodpanda is a powerful online tool for food delivery. It works with restaurants and other eateries in Singapore to deliver food right at your doorstep in the fastest time possible.
Simply visit Foodpanda , enter your postal code and search for cuisine type, restaurants or even price range. Click on your favourite restaurants and place an order for your dishes.
The restaurant index also includes address and delivery hours.
There are 3 modes of payment: online payment through credit card, paypal or cash on delivery.
I decided to try out Foodpanda’s services today so I went to their website and ordered a LARGE vegetarian pizza from Sarpino’s Pizzeria. It took me about 20 minutes to browse the website and decided what I want to order before proceeding to do the online payment. Why 20 minutes? I was spoilt for choice! Indian or western tonight? But the ordering process was pretty fuss-free. All I did was to select the menu items, typed in your particulars and payment details. That’s how convenient to order your food online!
I didn’t have to wait long before the delivery man came knocking at my door after an hour. I haven’t tried Sarpino’s pizza but I must say that their pan crust pizza was pretty good!
But I do hope there were more vegetarian or vegan food options at Foodpanda though!
