Natural Aqua Gel by Cure

I’ve always been intrigued by this product that works like an eraser to rub off the dead skin cells. Such exfoliants are often the solution to common skin issues like enlarged pores, blackheads, pimples,
blemishes and dull skin tone. It is because dead skin cells along with bacteria and impurities is a common root cause for most skin problems.
There was quite a hype about this product last year and it is only now that I had the chance to try it. I was rather excited.
It was said to be Japan’s No.1 Best Selling Exfoliator that exfoliates and supports skin regeneration. Made from 91% hydrogen water, this product encourages gentle exfoliation that removes only 0.01mm of dead skin cells. It also contains no preservatives, fragrance, colouring, alcohol and mineral oil. Being natural and pure is the key selling point for most brands in the current beauty and cosmetics world.

When I first use it, I was a little surprise that the formula come out as watery as most of such gel exfoliants have a thicker consistency. Perhaps I should have tilt the bottle upside down and shake the contents to make well.
When I made circular motions on my face, the eraser ‘dust effect’ was minimal. I was actually testing this product for a few days when I start to notice my skin starts to become really dry and there were slight red patches all over my face. I suspect that I might be allergic to one of the ingredients listed but I’m not too sure if that might be the case as there’s only a handful of ingredients with a few plant extracts.
In conclusion, this product may not suit for my skin type and this highlights the importance of why it is always important to do patch test with products or use the product samples first before investing and purchasing in a beauty product.
