One of the first few facial cleansers I first started using was a gentle facial cleanser by Neutrogena, one of the common dermatologist-recommended skincare brand. It was introduced by my brother and I really like it’s gentle formula that doesn’t leave the skin feeling taut. I’ve been using it for a year or so until I started testing out other facial cleansers.
When it comes to facial cleansers, I prefer using hydrating cleansers that keeps your skin feeling moist even after a deep cleanse. Neutrogena® Deep Clean Hydrating foaming cleanser is said to be able to clean 99% impurities from deep within to leave your skin more hydrated. That’s a pretty powerful deep cleansing action! Thanks to the water mineral complex which is found in the cleanser that provides twice the hydrating power!
Water Mineral Complex
Water mineral complex consists of Copper Gluconate, Magnesium Aspartate, Zinc Gluconate and water which are ingredients that boost skin hydration. Zinc Gluconate, in particular, can also heal and prevent acne. And copper, a trace element, can promote collagen production and skin regeneration. Thus, other than its cleansing and hydrating action, this foaming cleanser also nourishes the skin with the essential minerals to support beautiful skin.
My Verdict:
I prefer using this product as a night cleanser or ‘after-gym’ cleanser where it really thoroughly cleans off the excess oil, sebum and dirt off my skin especially during a hot and sweaty workout. It’s creamy texture really helps it to foam up quickly and this helps the product to penetrate deep into the skin to unclog all the impurities that might otherwise clogged up the pores and give rise to more skin problems. After cleansing, it leaves a light and refreshing feel where you will feel that your skin is able to breath properly once again.
All you will need is a small amount of product to work on your face. Then lather it up with wet hands.
The product foams up very easily and what I usually do it is to massage the foam on my face for about a minute in circular motions to work on deep cleansing of the pores. I like the fact that the foam has this texture of a milk cleanser that works to clean deeply into the pores but yet gentle to the skin, without stripping the moisture off the skin.The well-balanced, squeaky and clean feel it gives is essentially the outstanding quality of the Neutrogena® Deep Clean Hydrating foaming cleanser that is suitable for normal to oily skin types.
