bSoul Hydra-lip : A Certified-Natural Lip Cream

I haven’t really been a fan of lip balm because I feel that it doesn’t exactly moisturize my lips but simply to coat my lips with a synthetic layer of film to prevent moisturize loss. Some of the lip balms work pretty similar to Vaseline or petroleum jelly. It can feel rather sticky at times and I often find myself layering several coats of lip balm to prevent chapped lips.

An alternative to lip balm is those lip glosses or creams that contains a higher moisture content to boost the hydration of the lips but they are often tinted with shades of red and pink. I prefer nude or colourless as my lips were pretty red to begin with. I’ve been using a non-tinted hydra-lip cream by bSoul during my winter Europe trip and I’ve been loving it.

Usage:

Apply the cream on the lips throughout the day (under or over lipstick) and massage the product until it is completely absorbed. I like to squeeze out some of the product and warm it up with my fingers before rubbing it into the lips in small circular motions.

Verdict:

A little product is all you need to hydrate the lips and it really keep my lips from cracking in the windy, dry and cold winter months in Europe. It’s long-lasting hydration effects reduces the number of times of reapplication and I really like that fact that the formula is sheer in colour and light weighted. It absorbs readily into my lips and keep it moisturize and plump up for hours.
