I haven’t really been a fan of lip balm because I feel that it doesn’t exactly moisturize my lips but simply to coat my lips with a synthetic layer of film to prevent moisturize loss. Some of the lip balms work pretty similar to Vaseline or petroleum jelly. It can feel rather sticky at times and I often find myself layering several coats of lip balm to prevent chapped lips.
An alternative to lip balm is those lip glosses or creams that contains a higher moisture content to boost the hydration of the lips but they are often tinted with shades of red and pink. I prefer nude or colourless as my lips were pretty red to begin with. I’ve been using a non-tinted hydra-lip cream by bSoul during my winter Europe trip and I’ve been loving it.
Prior to this, I’ve been using bSoul skincare products which I championed their mission in using natural active ingredients and being eco-friendly. These Italian-made products also exclude the use of parabens, silicones, petrolatum, paraffin and SLES . It is not tested on animals and is truly certified by ICEA (Environmental and Ethical Certification Institute).
This hydra-lip cream is no different from their vegan-friendly other products. It is a lip cream that is enriched with eco-certified natural active ingredients which improves moisture instantly upon application. When the lip is plump up with moisture, it will appear fuller too.
bSoul skin care is truly certified by ICEA (Environmental and Ethical Certification Institute) and well received in Italy.
