Natural Vegan Beauty Haul @ iHerb

Hi lovelies! I’m really excited about writing this post because I had this awesome beauty haul from iHerb with a good stash of great vegan and eco-friendly products which I can’t wait to share with you all. These products are carefully selected based on its ratings and reviews on iHerb. I must really thank the iHerb community for providing such great feedback and comments so that it’s better for us consumers to purchase the treasures.
Now Foods, Solutions, Hyaluronic Acid Firming Serum, 1 fl oz (30 ml)

This best-selling iHerb serum is simply awesome! Not too sure whether is it really effective in getting rid of fine lines but I just like how hydrating and natural-smelling this serum is. It smells of the forest and fresh green aloe vera leaves. Unlike other serums in the market, this serum doesn’t smell of any artificial chemicals. It’s as if you are slapping nature’s goodness all over your face. It’s also vegan-friendly and paraben-free. The only downside is the sticky feeling (probably due the aloe barbadensis leaf juice)  it will leave on the skin which isn’t too bad once the product dries up or when I put another layer of moisturizer over it.
Now Foods, Solutions, Apricot Oil, 4 fl oz (118 ml)
The multi-purpose nut and fruit oils by Now Foods are pretty popular as they can be used all over the body – face, body and hair. These natural oils do not carry that original fruity scent it has as the oil is extracted from the apricot kernel (or seed). Their oils are considered food grade so it’s natural and safe enough for you to eat it if you want! I like the oil that is really light and not too oily. I would prefer to use it as a massage oil over my body.
Now Foods, Solutions, Shea Butter, 7 fl oz (207 ml)
This is another awesome product which I fall in love with the moment I tried it. This is PURE shea butter – a sheer bliss for any women who wants soft and moisturized smooth skin. It’s 100% shea butter and it has this nice nutty scent similar to cocoa butter. It is derived from the tree nuts of the karite trees that grow in Western and Central Africa. I read that it can be used as a scalp moisturizer but I’ve yet to try it! This works well to smoothen up cracked heels, scaly dry elbows and knees as well as cracked skin. It has a semi-solid texture but it will melt slightly when warmed up with the fingers. This shea butter works even better than those shea butter products at The Body Shop or L’Occitane because it is more effective in smoothening out any chapped skin. It melts nicely onto the skin and act as an emollient to prevent moisture loss from the skin.
Now Foods, Essential Oils, Eucalyptus, 1 fl oz (30 ml)
For its price, it is pretty worth the buy. It is concentrated but it doesn’t has that highly intense camphoraceous smell which probably meant that it could be a lower grade of essential oils. But it is good enough for aromatherapy use. I would use it as a cure to headaches, migraines and cold by rubbing some of the product on my face and neck to relieve any cold symptoms.
Cococare, 100% Natural Argan Oil, 2 fl oz (60 ml)
This is another hot selling product which is cheap considering its price. Once again, this might not be the best grade of oils as Argan oil don’t usually come that cheap. But it is good enough to use it for the hair and skin.
United Exchange, Moisturizing Under Eye Treatment, 4 Masks
Face mask can sometimes be cheaper than eye masks. So I’ve been hunting and trying eye masks every now and then. These eye masks are not too bad. It is really soothing on the eyes.
Desert Essence, 100% Pure Jojoba Oil, 4 fl oz
This product is also another best-seller and I probably knew why. This pure jojoba oil sits and gets absorb very quickly into the skin. It doesn’t have much of a smell but this luxurious oil seems to settle in so well with our human skin. It instantly moisturizes and leave your skin feeling soft without much oiliness. It’s no wonder many skin care products contains jojoba oil.
Nature’s Gate, Natural Toothpaste, Creme de Mint, Fluoride-Free, 6 oz (170 g)
I’ve been using Nature’s Gate tooth-paste for the past one month and have been loving it! It cleans the teeth and provides a refreshing feel to the mouth but minus off the artificial chemicals. Once I began using it, I never wanted to use the usual store-bought toothpaste that contains lots of artifical chemicals just to make your mouth taste fresh. It can be rather too overpowering sometimes.
Nature’s Gate, Hair Defense Shampoo, Pomegranate Sunflower, 18 fl oz (532 ml)
and
Nature’s Gate, Conditioner, Strengthening, Biotin, 18 fl oz (532 ml)
Currently, I am using Nature’s Gate Hair conditioner in Pomegranate Sunflower and it just smells so lovely.  It conditions the hair really well too. So now I’m trying out their shampoos and their popular hair strengthening Biotin conditioner.
Sierra Bees, Organic Vanilla Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E, .15 oz (4.25 g)

Out of the list of beauty products mentioned here, this lipbalm made from beewax is the only non-vegan product. This lip balm is amazing for its natural ingredients, quality and cost. It cost around a dollar and works even better than those artificial and plasticky type of lip balms around. I would usually apply this chapstick on my lips just before I go to bed.
Andalou Naturals, A Force of Nature, Hand Cream, Lavender, 3.4 fl oz (100 ml)

This isn’t the best-selling hand creams on iHerb but I prefer this handcream as compared to the one by Madre Labs simply because it doesn’t smell as great as this lavender handcream. The scent of the Madre Labs’ handcream was too nutty and odd that I wouldn’t want to use it unless my palms are really dry.

Thanks all folks and hope you enjoy reading this review as much as I enjoying sharing my reviews of this products with you guys!
