Were you there at Anime Festival Asia 2015 (AFASG15), the region’s biggest premier festival for Japanese Popular Culture and anime last weekend at Suntec City Convention Centre? It just gets bigger and better for anime fans here in Asia. There were close to 200 booths selling related merchandize, artists works and food. This year, there are more food options for those anime fans who will be hanging out at Suntec City Convention Centre for hours!

It is like a huge shopping alley for anime fans here because there were really many booths selling anime merchandize and everyone seems to be bringing back home alot of their favourite goodies from stickers, bookmarks, swords, cute hats to costumes.

Artists showcasing their artwork! Some of them were really talented in anime cartoon drawing and it is good to see how much support they gain from the public. This really encourages young passionate artists to do what they love.

I am no anime fan but these props are real cool! Perhaps that’s all the fun about cosplaying. Dressing up yourself as one of the anime characters and bringing that soil of the character to life.

There are also booths by Universities which specializes in teaching anime art.

Anisong Singer auditions? There are definitely more activities going on at Anime Festival Asia this year. But it is a petty that we missed the Regional Cosplay Championships.
