I don’t think I’ve ever done an award-winning facial before till a couple of weeks back, where I had the opportunity to enjoy some of the best facial treatments offered here in Singapore, at TOUCHE Elite. It’s their HA+ Multi-Optimising Skin Treatment, formulated with Hyaluronic acid, Antarcticine®, Pentavitin® and Quicklift™, that clinched the Best Youth-Boosting Facial in Harper’s BAZAAR Spa Awards 2016 this year.
It was one interesting facial with products that worked in a non-conventional way that generated an air of excitement. It’s not a new technological aesthetic machine that boosts collagen and helps regain back that youthful skin. Rather, it is all about the products that consist of highly effective ingredients to instantly boost the skin’s moisture level up and help lighten aging lines. If you’d ask me, I would prefer treatments that rely on products that tap on our skin’s natural ability to achieve its maximum potential in skin rejuvenation and renewal.

Before the treatment began, I was enjoying their home-brewed teas where there’re 3 different types of tea for you to choose from. It really helps to relax the mind and unwind the body before the treatment. The calming tea really helps to prepare the body for the treatment.
I had a consultation with their beauty specialist who explained to me about the steps and products involved in this facial. In short, this HA+ Multi-optimizing skin treatment is formulated with hyaluronic acid and patented actives that hold moisture up to 1,000 times its weight. In this way, it can help boost both the volume and hydration levels in the skin which will, in turn, restore the fullness of the skin and provide a dewy and youths complexion. And its results I witnessed, is as described – dewy and fuller-looking skin. My skin was plump up with sufficient moisture and it looked bouncy and soft, just like those female K-pop superstars who always have dewy-looking skin. If you are heading for a special event or occasion, this would be that facial which will make heads turn. You might not even need to apply foundation right after.
All the products use in the HA+ Multi-optimizing hydration skin treatment set is to be used up during the treatment itself. It is one of the premium facial treatments offered at TOUCHE Elite.
Prior to the treatment, a Hi-precision skin diagnosis was performed. It is an innovative skin diagnostic tool to find out the skin hydration level, skin symptoms, sebum quantity and presence of pigmentation. I’ve done this skin diagnosis elsewhere and I was shocked to see that I had lots of pigmentation all over my face which can’t be seen clearly with the naked eye. But anyway, that calls for more sunblock and sun protection!
I had a short shoulder massage before the treatment which helped me relax better and I really like such facial treatments that include some spa-like massages to make the whole experience an enjoyable one.
As usual, the beauty specialists would cleanse my skin and then perform skin extraction to unclog all the pores for better absorption of the product in the later steps.
The product used here contained multiple hyaluronic acid molecules which are small enough to penetrate deep into the skin layers to increase moisture levels. It also acts as a natural filler for intensive wrinkle smoothing.In addition, it also aims to boost cell renewal, protect the skin against harmful environmental conditions and free radicals.
Next, the oxygenating ‘bubble’ transdermal therapy is carried out. This therapy is infused with encapsulated hyaluronic acid molecules that can detect dry and dehydrated skin areas within minutes upon application. Areas, where the absorption is greater, indicates dryness in that area.
Look at how much HA my skin as absorbed! It is a good thing that my skin is soaking in all the nourishments it needed.
After the oxygenating bubble therapy, I was lost in fairyland. I can remember vaguely that there were a lot of facial massages as the beauty specialist massage all the good stuff on my skin and I was already feeling that my skin is thanking me for all these wonderful products that are going right deep into my skin.
And finally, after the mask and everything, I got out of the treatment room feeling like a brand new person. I should have taken a before and after pictures of my skin, but the camera wouldn’t do much justice to the efficacy of the treatment itself. My skin was glowing under the light. Albeit the other minor skin imperfections I have, my skin still looks radiant right after the treatment.
And the whole treatment lasted for about one and a half hours to two. It didn’t take too long for the product to plump up your skin with moisture. It’s almost like injecting filler in my cheeks, forehead, and chin. But of course, it is so much less invasive than doing fillers which involve needles. The effect lasted for about 2 weeks for me and I can really see why this facial is an award-winning facial and a less-invasive alternative to fillers and skin booster treatments.
