A Bread Made Out of 100% Pure Love and Grace

As much as I like to write about all things green, natural and eco-friendly, I also like to explore other topics that is close to my heart. It isn’t religious but a belief which I hold so dearly to my heart. If this good news of Jesus Christ would help others, I felt oblige to share His word.
Every Sunday, at our church, we would have the Holy Communion where we partake the Lord’s supper which consists of the bread, that represents Jesus’s body and the cup which represents His shed blood. It is a way of remembering Him and being conscious of His sacrifice for us.
And it’s interesting that today, we are able to purchase the Holy Communion back home and for us to receive His blessings on a daily basis. I would never think that a huge packet of Holy Communion Elements would be found right at home. (Thanks to my brother’s girlfriend!)
I already felt so blessed to be able to have the Lord’s Supper right at home while giving thanks and saying prayers to worship God. I used to think that you are able to receive healing through the Holy communion that if you take the Holy Communion, it will make you more holy.
But after last week’s service, I got to understand that partaking his bread and blood is a way of expressing that you are remembered His sacrifice as you are already blessed and that you are righteous in the name of Jesus Christ. We don’t eat to be healed but we eat because we believe that we are already healed.
We are destined to reign in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I don’t mean to sound religious but we just need to believe. And I couldn’t help but wonder in awe as I get to hear stories of our Lord through people whom I have spoken to or met. It’s amazing to know how God has touched our lives.

Ever wanted to know what are the ingredients used in our elements of the Holy Communion? It’s more than just water, sugar and flour. It’s made out of 100% pure love and grace.

Before taking the Lord’s supper at home, I would usually say this prayer which is taken from Pastor Prince’s website.
” To partake, first, hold the bread in your hand and say:

Thank You, Father, for the gift of Your Son. By the stripes that fell on His back, my body is healed from the crown of my head to the very soles of my feet. Every cell, every organ, every function of my body is healed, restored, and renewed. In Jesus’ name, I believe and I receive. [Eat the bread.]

Next, take the cup in your hand and say:

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your precious blood. Your sin-free, disease-free, poverty-free life is in Your blood. And Your shed blood has removed every sin from my life. Through Your blood, I am forgiven of all my sins—past, present and future—and made completely righteous. Today, I celebrate and partake of the inheritance of the righteous, which is preservation, healing, wholeness and provision. Thank You Lord Jesus, for loving me. Amen. [Drink the wine.]”

Now, I’ve come to understand that God, I am not very far away from you and that I don’t have to walk or run towards you to get close to you. Because, Abba, you have always been right next to me, watching over me and showering me with your tender loving care which I have to be reminded each time of your love through the Holy Communion.
