Supreme Q.X Beauty Spa : Pure Radiance Facial

Through the Womb Care Therapy workshop which was organized by Supreme Q.X Beauty Spa, I get to a little more about the face and body treatments offered at the salon. This spa beauty centre is set up by Dato Icemichelle Chen who won the most coveted title of Mrs. Singapore Universal Beauty in 2013. Her porcelain and radiant skin must be an envy for many women at her age. It’s interesting that she was granted the title of Dato for her philanthropic efforts in Malaysia and hence, she is addressed as Dato Icemichelle.

Here at Supreme Q.X. Beauty Spa, they merge both Western and Eastern techniques coupled with advanced technology to deliver better rest. It’s like combining the best of both worlds to deliver the best of the best.

I made a trip down to their outlet at Bishan, which is about 3 minutes walk from Bishan MRT, to try out their Ice’s Secret Pure Radiance Facial. It’s an instant brightening treatment that detoxifies, whitens and lifts the skin

Their treatment rooms are housed across two levels. I went up to the second floor through their ‘secret passage’. You will know why it’s called secret if you make a trip down to the salon.

The room was well-furnished though it might look rather small.

The treatment started off with cleansing and exfoliation of the skin. I skipped doing the extraction step but you can request for it if you need.

Later on, they used the Ice’s secret multi-power device, a unique patented technology from Japan.

Before the beautician operates the device on my skin, she applied an ampoule on my face.

This device works with the natural electric waves in our body. It draws toxins and excess fluids away from the face, to be processed and eliminated through the lymphatic system. It is painless but you can still feel the interaction of the electric waves and the light pulses. I could felt the electric waves nearer to my eye area and it did make me jumped for a bit whenever the devices come really close to my eyes. There’s a little discomfort around my eye area but other than that, it’s fine.

This follows by a facial massage to further drain out the excess toxins. My skin totally deserves this!

After the massage, she applied a double mask for me using Ice’s secret Pure Radiant mask which is one of their signature products.

Verdict: My skin did become instantly brighter and smoother. The effect lasted for about 3 to 5 days. The results would have been better if extraction was performed to unclog the pores for better absorption of the product.
