This is the phone that never dies and I will never leave you in the lurch. Do you remember those times where your phone just died on you? Or the times where you have to have to carry a battery pack or power bank to charge your phone where ever you go?
This ASUS ZenFone Max in my hand is a phone and the power bank. You can store so much power in it that you can charge other devices too. Its 5000mAh battery can last you for days which makes this a great travelling companion.
And that is my first impression of the ASUS ZenFone Max ZC550KL – the phone with a monster battery.
The phone comes in a compact box with minimal packaging and some wires. That’s eco-friendly for sure!
The phone has a very wide screen and it’s not too heavy too. The back of the phone is covered with leather so it gives me this sophisticated feel.
This phone sets up very quickly upon switching on and the system loads quickly too.
I am not much of smartphone-person and I only use the phone for basic functions like making calls, sending messages, taking photos and browsing through my social platform apps.
Like other smartphones, it offers a variety of apps which were already installed on the phone. And its first feature I explored was its camera function. It has a 13MP PixelMaster camera which has a f/2.0-aperture lens that captures stunning, high-resolution photos with zero shutter lag.
So how do the pictures turn out? The images are sharp but the colours aren’t very contrasting. Thankfully, they have a built-in photo editor where you can adjust the contrast and saturation.
Their photo editing options are quite impressive. Besides adding filters, you can also add cute stickers and frames. This really saves you from downloading those photo editor apps in the market.
The images on its LED-display screen is crisp and clear.
And if you are afraid that your screen might crack easily, you don’t have to worry with ASUS ZenFone Max. It uses Corning® Gorilla® Glass 4 which is the latest ingenious creation from the world-renownedCorning. This glass display offers twice the drop-damage resistance of its predecessor. It is 85% less likely to break in daily use — making it resistant to phone screen cracks.
ZenFone Max is powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 410 processor so be assured that you will have ample power for your daily tasks and activities. This is the Gamer’s secret tool. It’s as good as watching HD TV except that the screen is downsized yet its resolution is still as good.
I highly recommend this phone to those who games and watch videos to enjoy that multimedia entertainment experience. It will definitely keep those commuters on the trains gluing their eyes to the phone as they get entertained while waiting for their stop to alight.
