Ecorganics: A One-stop Beauty Centre for Organic Skin and Hair Treatments

Ecorganics is a one-stop organic beauty center where you can not only get your facial done but also hair too. I finally understood the convenience of killing two birds with one stone and having to save time from traveling one salon to another. It makes it so much easier if everything is found under one roof.I was there a couple of days back to do their DECLÉOR facial treatment and Invigorating scalp therapy for hair loss. It was a back-to-back treatment so time is definitely not wasted. This is one organic beauty center in Singapore which I would highly recommend because firstly, they are very particular about the type of organic beauty products they used and they also select the best. Secondly, their prices are reasonable and not too expensive as compared to other beauty salons offering organic skin treatments. Thirdly, they don’t follow the common salon practices in Singapore of hard selling their treatment packages or products. They let the efficacy of organic products speak for itself. I was ushered into their treatment room where I was greeted by another stunning piece of crystal which is displayed in each treatment room. The founder of Ecorganics, Crystalz, who is also a beauty therapist, believes in the positive energies radiated by crystals which can help bring us back to balance.

It was a basic facial done using DECLÉOR products which include cleansing, extraction and facial massage too. However, Crystalz decided to customize a special blend of essential oils together with DECLÉOR products for the facial massage step. She added some rosehip, Jojoba, and helichrysum essential oils into the blend to help with reducing the skin inflammations and acne scarring I had at the left side of my face. She is very knowledgeable in the various types of essential oils and it was wonderful to learn about the amazing benefits of these oils which are extracted from plants.Just before the whole facial treatment ends, Crystalz did a double mask for me and applied the Marine algae mask with peppermint oil on my face. I guess the oils help to keep my skin feeling really soft and the algae mask really brightens the skin!

After the facial, I headed down to the first level to get my scalp treatment done. I know that my oily scalp needs to be rescued because I was experiencing some hair loss which started about a month ago. The scalp treatment uses products from Teabase which offers aromatherapy-based haircare products from Italy.

My scalp treatment lasted for about one and half hour. It not only cleanses my scalp but it also leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth too.

The first step involves applying the invigorating mud from Teabase  on my scalp. It is actually Deep Sea Mud that is rich in minerals and thus it is able to nourish the scalp and strengthens the hair. This mud also produces a deep cleansing effect by removing the oil residues on the scalp so my scalp actually feels very clean right after the treatment.

The invigorating mud contains cinnamon, thyme, and peppermint.

The mud was carefully applied to my whole scalp and I felt that tingling sensation due to the peppermint oils that probably has infused into the scalp.

After leaving the mud on my scalp for about 15 minutes, they washed my hair with Teabase invigorating shampoo and then applied Teabase aromatic treatment mask on my scalp.

The treatment mask was left on my scalp for another 15 minutes and the tea tree oil present in the mask further, soothes and tones up scalp. The tingling sensation it gives was intensified but it was still comfortable and not too overpowering.

After a good 15 minutes, the treatment product was washed off and the stylist sprayed Teabase’s invigorating treatment onto my scalp. It contains caffeine and tea tree oil which will aid in stimulating hair re-growth. My hair was blowed dried and styled. For once, I felt that my scalp was ultra clean and light. If you face the same scalp problem like I do, it will take a few more monthly hair scalp sessions before you are able to see improvements in your scalp. What is applied onto your skin can potentially enter the bloodstream and produce an effect on your body. Likewise, products that are applied on your scalp can also enter your body so this is why using hair care products that use natural ingredients are preferred.
