    TRESemmé Keratin Smooth’s formulation is infused with Keratin which is the new buzz-word in today’s hair industry. This trend started all the way back in Brazil where keratin was used to treat curly, frizzy and wavy hair. It has made its way to US where it was popularly known as ‘Brazilian Blow-outs’ and today, we can also enjoy such salon-quality treatments right at home.Keratin shampoos work by supplementing your hair with keratin, a natural protein, to help keep the hair strong, smooth and soft. It adds a protective coat of keratin layer over your hair cuticle and this also protects your hair from further damage.     My Thoughts

    I’ve always thought that TRESemmé was a US brand of haircare products which are meant for salon use. It was only when I read up more on the brand that I discovered it was bought over by Unilever who has brough it closer to the masses especially with this salon-quality of products. They also priced
    TRESemmé products affordably so that consumers can enjoy the salon-quality results from the comfort of their own home. Based on the reviews I’ve read, there are people who enjoy great hair results from this new range especially the Keratin Smooth range.

    As with all skin and hair care products, I strongly advised that you test out the products with small amounts first to see how your body respond to it before deciding to make any bulk purchase or using it as your everyday-go-to product. As with all products, some may work for others while some may not.
