J.J Hair Identity : Organic Hair and Scalp Treatment

There’s always a reason to rejoice when a new establishment in Singapore supports natural and cruelty-free products and distributing them in Singapore to spread the word. J.J Hair Identity is one of the few organic hair salons in Singapore that offers organic hair colouring as well as hair and scalp treatments using Natulique and Oway.

I was back here again after trying out their organic hair colouring a couple of weeks back. Some of the organic hair colouring products out in the market do have this slight peroxide smell but not for Natulique colouring products which almost has no chemical smell at all. There was also no itching in the scalp or whatsoever during the coloring process. So I have to say that the experience was rather good.

And the scalp treatment here is another treatment which I would highly recommend. They use Oway products for this and it started by applying a blend of Oway scalp treatment products on my scalp with a brush.

The the hair stylist would massage the product into my scalp. All the botanical ingredients left my scalp feeling very invigorating and refreshing. It’s like rubbing peppermint on your skin and it gives you that minty sensation.

This is followed by a relaxing shoulder and neck massage to stimulate blood circulation which would then open up the pores on the scalp. The stylist uses this regenerating body oil to massage my tired shoulder.

The scalp treatment product is left onto my scalp for about 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing it out. After the hair wash, the next step would be to spray the Oway hair tonic but I was doing the hair treatment at the same time so the hair tonic was applied only after the whole treatment.

Here, they are using Natulique hair treatment cream and it was being brushed all over my hair. To enhance the absorption process, my hair was steamed for about 15 minutes before washing it off.

Last but not least, they sprayed the hair tonic on my scalp with this special equipment for an even application.

Before the scalp treatment, I was having some dandruff and my scalp was very dry. But now, two weeks after the treatment, the symptoms of a dry and flaky scalp has all seem to subside. Having tried Oway treatment products before, I have to say that their scalp treatment products is really effective.
