Oktoberfest has officially just ended in Germany but not yet in Singapore! From 5th to 8th October, brighten up your night by experiencing authentic Oktoberfest by the beach at Sentosa. With sand under your feet and the gentle sea breeze caressing your face, what better way it is to unwind after a hard day’s work.
Oktoberfest Celebrations are held across the participating cafes and bars situated along the shoreline of Siloso Beach. Look forward to great food and beverage deals, as C Side, Mambo Beach Club, Ola Beach Club, and Wave House Sentosa, together with Siloso Beach Resort Sentosa, AJ Hackett Sentosa and Mega Adventure Park partner Singapore’s only German Microbrewery – Paulaner Bräuhaus – to deliver an exclusive Oktoberfest experience at Sentosa.
How about the Oktoberfest beer tent? The beer tent is housed at Sapphire Pavilion with a makeshift stage and long wooden benches. You would be able to enjoy German music performances and play games like Hammer a Nail, Speed Cage soccer and Golf Bunker Challenge while feasting onto some authentic German cuisines like Pork Knuckles. Yes, how could you not have Pork Knuckles during Oktoberfest?
There’s a beer station with a Paulaner beer ‘fountain’.
If you prefer something non-alcoholic, you can opt for Paulaner Weissbier or soft drinks.
How could we miss out on the Oktoberfest cheers? Ein Prosit… Ein Prosit!
Never drink beer on an empty stomach. Pair it with some traditional German sausages, Beef Goulash or Bavarian Meat Patties.
The warm beef goulash with mash potatoes was lovely!
Oktoberfest celebrations will also mark the start of attractive Thirsty Thursday deals in Sentosa. Yes, the celebrations stretch all the way till the end of this year. From 5th October to 28th December, head to Sentosa after work to de-stress with fascinating promotions like one-for-one packages at AJ Bar & Beach Dining, Bikini Bar, Coastes, FOC Sentosa, Hotel Michael – Michael’s Lounge, Ola Beach Club, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore – Rock Bar and Wave House Sentosa.
Coming into Sentosa has never been easier with the introduction of Thirsty Thursday Bus. For those working in the Pasir Panjang and HarbourFront areas, you can also enjoy free entry into Sentosa and complimentary rides to the doorsteps of these F& B outlets by hopping onto special GrabShuttle every Thursday from 5th October to 28th December, starting from 6.00pm. Real-time bus arrival timings will be available on the GrabShuttle App. Click here for the bus routes.
The bars and clubs along Siloso Beach have got fantastic views of the sea and it is somewhat similar to Potato Beach Club in Bali. That means you don’t have to travel all the way to Bali to experience nightlife by the beach when you can do it right here on Sentosa island!
Other than Oktoberfest and Thirsty Thursdays, you could check out the captivating neon light art displays at Siloso Beach which is curated by urban artist Samantha Lo (aka Sticker Lady) and Singaporean visual artist, soph O. The artistic ambience decorations coupled with the interactive activities including UV Tattoo, Light Painting Booth, and interactive Doodle Wall would be a good reason to chill and party throughout the night.
Want a memorable night-out experience? This state of fun keeps you entertained throughout the day till midnight.
