One of my favourite Italian gelato brand in Singapore, Alfero Gelato has partnered with Elizabeth Arden for the official launch of Elizabeth Arden’s NEW Gelato Crush Color Collection. In conjunction with the new series of Elizabeth Arden’s lipsticks, Alfero Gelato has created the Flirty Fuchsia gelato which comprises of sweet summer berries. Yes, it’s in the same shade as Elizabeth Arden’s Plush Lip Gelato in Flirty Fuchsia! It’s a lovely colour that doesn’t make you look too overly flirtatious in any dating situations.
If only eating gelato could naturally stain your lips pink, then I wouldn’t mind skipping lipstick altogether.
The colour of this artisan gelato resembles the colour of Elizabeth Arden’s Gelato crush lipsticks. It’s a 96% fat-free gelato made from free-range milk, egg yolk, fresh fruits and other high-quality ingredients. It tasted like strawberry sorbet!

Plush Lip Gelato

The plush lip gelato comes in 22 shades. The lipstick itself has a smooth buttery gelato-like texture that melts onto your lips. It’s very light-weight and works almost like a coloured lip balm. It is also super moisturizing on the lips as it contains hyaluronic acid, shea butter, Vitamin A, E and rosemary extract.
To use the lipstick, simply slide the component of the lipstick up as shown in the photo above. Then gently pull out the tube to reveal the buttery lipstick.
The formula is lightweight and it leaves a sheer finish on your lips. It doesn’t have this creamy formula like what most lipsticks do but it does glide very smoothly across your lips. Thus, this is great for those who just wanted a healthy tint of pink colour on their lips. This would complement a day look.
Like gelato, this formula tends to melt easily under heat. So do store this in places where the temperatures are cooler.
