Experience a guilt-free afternoon tea at Chef’s Table on Fridays with a curated menu of healthy, nutritious and dairy-free delights. Last week, we got to enjoy this elegant affair in an intimate and elegant setting over exquisite Ronnefeldt teas.
The idea of having a plant-based afternoon tea sounds enticing to me. I don’t call myself a vegan or raw vegan foodie but I can’t deny the fact that vegan food tastes delicious. It’s an art in itself.
Helming the kitchen was certified raw food chef, Sandra Lim. She puts the finest plant-based ingredients together to form the most decadent vegan treats. The most challenging part? How to satisfy a meat lover with exotic vegetables and superfoods in one sitting. The game is on.
On The Table
The savoury and sweet creations were paired with Aryuveda tea by Ronnefeldt. What’s your dosha? I’m a Kapha and to balance my dosha elements, Pitta-inspired herbal tea – Light My Flame.
I will never be able to tell you which savoury treat is my favourite on this platter. I enjoy every bite of the vegan savoury treats which explodes in my mouth. It’s quite an experience.
As for the desserts, the chocolate tea cake with the green icing is a clear winner for me.
Light My Flame (Pitta)
Ginger, lemon peel, black peppercorn, anise, peppermint and coriander seeds.
It is a spicy affair to kick-start your day.

This is a blast. I love how the dairy-free scones tasted like actual scones, minus off the wheat and refined sugar.
