Délifrance Singapore has been a household French bakery name in Singapore for over the past 30 years. Their well-known classics have always been their Baguettes, Feuilletes and the Croissants. But this Christmas, Délifrance is offering something more than just French pastries. You can celebrate Christmas in Parisian-style with Délifrance Christmas delights at the comfort of your own home.
Tonight, we were Délifrance Singapore at Wheelock Place, to sample some of their traditional Christmas dishes like roasted Turkey, pies, log cakes and fruit cakes. Here’s our review of their sweets and savouries.
Christmas Log Cakes
Joy of Délifrance Log cake (1.2 kg)
This is one of Délifrance’s signature log cake which is also a best-seller. It is a velvety chocolate cake layered with Valrhona chocolate. The cake layer is very moist, dense and not too overly sweet. It’s one of the most decadent chocolate cakes I’ve ever tasted.
Chocolate Crumbs and Cream Cheese (1kg)
This is another lovely log cake which had everyone’s approval at our table. It has the right amount of cream cheese embedded in the sponge layers. The cookie crumbs give the cake a nice crumbly texture too.

If you’re holding a smaller gathering, you can opt for more small-sized Christmas desserts like Christmas Star and Fruitcake.

Traditional Christmas Roasts
A Christmas feast without roasted Turkeys and ham is like having a cupcake without the icing. Our recommended roasted meats would be their Traditional Roasted Turkey stuffed with flavourful chestnut and marinated with a special sauce.
Another recommendation would be the Boneless Chicken Meatloaf which is surprisingly a lovely dish.

Another must-try dish featured in their Christmas menu is their Christmas Prawn and Peach Croissants. The prawn and peach filling, sandwiched between the buttery croissants, tasted very refreshing and delicious. This makes a light and satisfying Christmas treat for smaller gatherings.
