It’s my first time trying out MISSHA products and after using this MISSHA sunblock, I am now more open to try out MISSHA products.
In general, Korean skincare products work great on my combination skin type. I don’t have ever came across a Korean beauty product which worsens my skin or causes breakouts. My current favourite Korean beauty brands are the Nature Republic and The Face Shop. I might be adding MISSHA into that list too.
MISSHA All Around Safe Block Sun SPF 45 PA+++ (50ml)
I came across this sunblock while shopping for sunblock or sunscreens on Shopee. This isn’t the best-selling sunblock online but it has several positive reviews. Hence, I thought it was worth a try. It turns out to be a decent sunblock and it costs less than $10.
What are some features of this sunblock?
It is a nourishing sunblock for dry or damaged skin. It features 6 essence complex and a botanical blend of natural plant extracts which hydrates and conditions the skin.
The sunblock contains apricot, lotus, chrysanthemum and camellia flower extracts to moisturise the skin, and Thanaka extracts for a soothing and cooling effect.
Double UV Blocking System
The double UV blocking system provides long-lasting and impenetrable UV protection. It can stand up against water, sweat and heat. Thus, it can stay in place on the skin to protect it against harmful UVA/UVB rays.
My verdict on MISSHA All Around Safe Essence Block Sun
The product formula is light and it felt refreshing on my skin. It does not leave a white cast or any tacky or greasy feeling on my skin. It is a little aqueous-like and it spreads very easily on my skin. The scent is pleasant too.
It is best to apply the sunblock 30 minutes before you head out. And remember to reapply every 3 to 4 hours during the day. Remember to use a gentle milk cleanser or makeup cleanser to remove the sunblock. This is a really important step because if you don’t cleanse your skin properly, your skin will be clogged. It happened to me so don’t make the same mistake!
I really like using this sunblock and I might try other variants of MISSHA sunblock. Are there any MISSHA products which you’ve used before?
