You can redeem SingapoRediscovers vouchers at this hotel.
Since everyone is stuck here in Singapore, why not make full use of our time and money here in Singapore to discover or learn something new? Besides, it’s the holiday season right now and it’s probably also the time of the year to clear your leave. Why not head out for a discovery tour, museum hop or staycation? For me, I had a staycation at M Social Singapore.
As Singaporeans, we are given $100 worth of SingapoRediscovers vouchers to spend on hotels, attractions and tours. However, you have to book through the five authorised booking partners or directly at some of the hotels like M Social.
You can also redeem directly from their website where they offer a couple of interesting staycation packages like which include a complimentary workshop. Enjoy an addition 15% discount if you are a My Millennium member. This award-winning membership* is free by the way! It might be even cheaper if you book directly via the hotel.
(*This year, My Millennium has clinched the ultra-competitive Best Loyalty Regional Loyalty Campaign award, along with the Best Loyalty Programme – Travel/Hospitality.)
M Social Hotel Rooms are one of a kind
If you’re looking for a more unique staycation experience, you have to check out M Social Singapore, a boutique hotel along the riverside of Robertson Quay. Their contemporary loft-style rooms and chic interiors already made them stood out from the rest of the hotels. And did you know that the hotel interior is designed by famous French industrial architect and designer, Philippe Starck? He has cleverly played with bright colours and textures, but always with a touch of luxury and elegance, that contrast beautifully.
We stayed in a Loft Premier Room
There are a total of 293 rooms at M Social. You can choose any of their 5 room types which are either Loft-style or Alcove-style rooms. I’ve previously stayed at their Loft Premier room before but this time, their Queen-sized bed is found at the mezzanine floor, right above the study area. I prefer this room arrangement where the sleeping and work zones are clearly demarcated.
The only minor inconvenience is that you will have to climb down the stairs if you have to visit the toilet in the middle of your sleep.
Albeit small, but clean and comfortable
The duplex-style room occupies a space of 22 sqm. Albeit small, it is designed in a way that looks and feels spacious with its clever use of space.
The rooms are very clean too. Under their We Clean. We Care.We welcome campaign, the hotel follows and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Rest assured, M Social is one of the SG Clean certified hotels. I can even smell disinfectants in their bathrooms, which are probably thoroughly sanitised.
Ground-floor area: Study and lounge area
Are you still on WFH? You can also work from the hotel, during your staycation. There’s ample space for you to place your laptop or work materials on their nesting or stack table where you can draw out another table underneath to expand your desk space.
With their SMART televisions, you can either watch the available TV channels or pair the TV with your phone so that you can ‘Netflix-and-chill’.
On the Mezzanine floor…
This Queen-sized bed comes with a plushy duvet and 4 square-shaped pillows. I’m not sure why they use square-shaped pillows here but I’m so used to sleep on rectangular-shaped ones.
Other Room Amenities at M Social Singapore
Besides a cosy lounge area and a comfy bed, there’s also a Nespresso coffee machine with Nespresso coffee capsules provided. Using the coffee machine is easy but I always forget how to slot in the coffee capsules. It will definitely be useful if there are instructions on how to use the machine are provided.
Disinfection kits
If you forget to bring a change of mask during your staycation, fret not as each room has a disinfection kit for guest to use. It includes 2 masks, alcohol wet wipes and sanitisers.
Ensuite Bathroom with Rain Shower
The hotel provides high-end bath amenities by C.O Bigelow which are lavender and peppermint-scented. Since there’s a rain shower head, why not use it? The rain shower experience is quite a relaxing treat.
Other Hotel Facilities
There’s also a gym and an outdoor swimming pool where you can spend your time relaxing within the hotel. Their in-house restaurant, Beast & Butterflies offers delicious western and modern Asian cuisine too! And our free-flow ala carte breakfast is served at Beast & Butterflies too!

Beast & Butterflies
We had our dinner at their in-house restaurant and their food did not disappoint me at all. I always feel satiated after dining there.
M Social Breakfast at Beast & Butterflies
Our staycation comes with hotel breakfast. It’s buffet in ala carte style so we can simply as much food as we want from the menu. Nothing really extensive but they offer the essential breakfast menu items like scrambled eggs, Nasi Lemak and Kaya toasts. The food was relatively quite good and I’m quite satisfied with their local breakfast dishes.
Do check out Millennium hotels website for the latest promotions and offers. There are currently 4 exciting staycation packages to choose from!
