Are you tired of eating the same traditional sponge roll log cake that comes with a thick layer of cream? You can try something different this year with Nesuto as they launch their Christmas cakes which are available from now till 31 December 2023 only. They have created dainty and elegant-looking yule logs this Christmas. Let’s start with their Chocolate Yule Log.
1.Chocolate Yule Log (SGD 69)
You can’t go wrong with this classic Chocolate cake that’s covered with chocolate shavings. It is filled with pecan praline and cocoa nib crunch and heavily coated with a dark chocolate ganache. The crunchy texture of the praline helps elevate the taste of this cake.
2.Chestnut & Vanilla Yule Log (SGD 69)
Another festive log cake to try is their Chestnut and Vanilla Yule Log. This is another classic Christmas cake to enjoy if you want to try something else besides chocolate. This dessert is composed of candied-roasted chestnut brandy mousse and a thin layer of Matcha sponge cake. The inner filling comprises vanilla chantilly and at the core of it all is Griottine cherry.
3.Lemon Entremet Tart ($55)
It’s shaped like a tart and has a buttery crust but it’s a huge tart that could come off as a cake! The Lemon Entremet Tart features a vanilla and zesty lemon compote along with a hazelnut sponge layer, vanilla chantilly, lemon white chocolate mousse, and lemon curd. Overall, it’s a light, citrusy, and tangy dessert that is pleasant to have after all the heavy Christmas feasting.
Another Christmas Classic treat from Nesuto
If you prefer the traditional Christmas fruit cake, you can go for their Christmas Brandy Fruit Cake from their Gateau De Voyage series. This cake is crafted with dried fruits, Griottine cherry, walnuts, cinnamon, and brandy. This sweet and nutty cake is a festive treat to enjoy over a Christmas get-together meal.
