S.O.S (Stand Out Sauce) Chicken is a new restaurant in Tampines that specialize in charcoal-grilled chicken. Their dining concept is simple: pick a sauce of your choice to go with their tender charcoal-grilled chicken and pair it with some sides of your choice.
Their classic charcoal-grilled chicken is cooked with more than 16 herbs and spices. The chicken is roasted slowly over charcoal and applewood chips for irresistible smokiness. They have more than a dozen of irresistible home-made sauces that pair well with their juicy, tender charcoal-grilled chicken.
I tried their chicken a few weeks back and had enjoyed their chicken and sauces, in particular, their mala sauce. It has the right level of spiciness that won’t leave your tongue feeling too numb. Their signature sauces, which feature flavours from all over the world, include Chilli Lime, Charred Ginger Scallion, Garlic Chilli, Garlic Soya, Korean Spicy BBQ, Sambal Ijo and more.
For sides, you can opt for Brussels Sprouts, Crispy Cauliflower, Buttered Corn, Grilled Bak Choy, Chicken Rice, Kimchi, Tofu Skin & Enoki Salad, Fried Sambal Tempeh and more.
