    New lifestyle Hub in Singapore: KADA, a 101-year-old Heritage Building

    KADA is the latest hangout spot for Singaporeans. It is Singapore’s latest Oasis in the city with offerings ranging from wellness, fitness and art – all housed in a 101-year-old heritage building. This four-storey was constructed in the 1920s and today it is a coffee spot and wellness sanctuary for locals. What make this conserved building unique is the triangular atrium and the old electric lift which is still functioning today.

    Why KADA?

    In Indian culture, a kada is a bangle symbolising strength, unity and eternity. This is exactly what KADA aims to create – an interconnected experiences for the community.

    History of this historic charm

    It was formerly home to St. Andrew’s Mission Hospital which was founded to provide medical care for women and children.

    What can be found at KADA?

    There are four levels with F&B on the ground floor and rooftop, fitness and wellness on the second floor, and a co-living space on the third floor. There is a total of 18 offerings that include restaurants, cafes, post-workout muscle recovery studio, boutique pilates studio, gym, art studio and 18 co-living rooms.

    Rooftop (Fourth Floor)

    Level 4 houses private dining restaurant, Proud Potato Peeler by Chef Alberto Simillides, which offers authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Chef Alberto also helms Alani, which is a bakery located next to Proud Potato Peeler.

    Co-living Space (Third Floor)

    The flagship co-living concept Habyt KADA @ Maxwell, an 18-room sanctuary that offers an urban retreat with exclusive access to wellness facilities on the second floor. Residents of Habyt can enjoy unlimited access to the limitless gym on Level 2 during their stay and rdeem a trial art appreciation class at Lil’ Palette on Level 4.

    Wellness Haven (Level 2)

    At level 2, you can find wellness centres like Limitless Performance. It is a state-of-the-art gym that offer personalised training programmes and bootcamps. There’s also a reformer and mat pilates studio called Satori on Level 2.

    After a good workout, you can go for a post-workout muscle recovery at Shiruki Studio. You can take ice baths and try out their infrared sauna there.

    Coffee Haven (Level 1)

    This is probably the most vibrant level as it houses four homegrown cafes: Pacto by Parchmen, Kyuukei, Kit & Kaboodle and Echo. You can enjoy refreshing all-natural tea beverages from homegrown brand, Origin Tea.

    For wine lovers, you can head over to Haus for their curated wines and house made cheesecake. There are also F&B restaurants like D’Penyetz Heritage which offer exclusive dishes like Sambal Madura. Popular Mexican restaurant, Lavi Tapas Bar, is also located at KADA. They offer Mexican cuisine with a contemporary twist.

    KADA Atrium: Event Space on the ground level

    There are also event spaces at KADA which are up for rent. The event spaces include the Atrium, oasis lounge and lawn. It is suitable for product showcases, talks, corporate events, weekend market acitivity or a special celebration like weddings.
