Matcha Drinks

Baby Blue Matcha Latte ($7.50)
The Baby Blue Matcha Latte is a soothing and unique drink that offers a delightful twist on the classic matcha latte. The matcha itself carries subtle sweet floral notes of lavender, which adds a refreshing complexity to the drink without overpowering the earthy matcha flavor. The lovely mixture of the matcha and lavender creates a smooth, silky texture that goes down effortlessly, making each sip a calming experience.
Strawberry Foam Matcha Latte ($7.50)
The Strawberry Foam Matcha Latte offers an intriguing contrast of flavors and textures. The creamy, fluffy strawberry foam sits atop the drink, light and airy, bringing a refreshing sweetness that complements the matcha below. However, the matcha itself carries a slight bitterness which might not be to everyone’s taste, especially when paired with the delicate sweetness of the foam. Overall, we would consider it one of the better strawberry matcha combinations.
Bread and Butter ($12)

The Bread and Butter is a simple yet delightful appetizer that’s good for sharing between 3 to 6 people. Served with 6 slices of thin toasted bread, each piece is crisp on the outside, providing a satisfying crunch.
The real stars are the 3 sauces complementing it, though a little hard to scoop when just served. The butter is wonderfully melty, offering a smooth and creamy richness that balances the toast’s crispness. For an unexpected burst of flavor, try the red sauce. Its surprising spiciness adds a fiery kick, awakening your taste buds. Meanwhile, the yellow sauce has subtle hints of truffle that adds an exquisite touch. The variety of sauces gives this dish a dynamic quality, allowing diners to dip and explore different flavor profiles with each bite.
Scallion Croissant ($7)

The Scallion Croissant is beautifully crisp, with a glossy golden finish that promises a satisfying crunch with each bite. Topped with a sprinkling of scallions, it adds a subtle fragrance. Though the croissant has the standard buttery richness and flakiness, there was nothing extraordinary about it, and we felt it was rather average.
Mentai Hankerchief Pasta ($24)

The handkerchief-shaped pasta has a delightful al dente texture, offering a satisfying bite that would cater to pasta enthusiasts who enjoy their pasta on the chewier side. The Mentai Hankerchief Pasta is topped with crisp bacon, though slightly on the harder side, provides a pleasant crunch that contrasts nicely with the Mentai cream. Though the Mentai is smooth and creamy, it only has subtle hints of the umami Mentai flavour, which we thought could have been richer. Order this if you’d like a well-balanced dish that combines textural contrasts and delicate flavors.
Thick Slab Bacon ($26)

For the mains, the Thick Slab Bacon offers a hearty indulgence. The exterior of the bacon is completely caramelized, forming a rich, glossy coating that adds a delightful sweetness to the smoky meat beneath. However, the meat itself is on the fattier side and may be a bit difficult to cut through, especially on the bread. Overall, the sweet caramelization overflows onto the fluffy egg and bread, creating a delightful fusion of flavors. We would suggest for 2-3 people to share this sweet and savoury dish since the bacon can be a bit “jelat” (overwhelming).
Average Maple Toast ($16)

The fluffy cream, light and airy, pairs perfectly with the thick toast, adding a creamy contrast that balances the Average Maple Toast dish. Drizzled with maple syrup, the sweetness ties everything together. However, the thick toast lacked any filling in the middle, making it feel a bit empty. The portion for the Average Maple Toast is good for sharing, as the indulgence of the maple syrup and cream can feel overwhelming.
Strawberry Shortcube ($13)

The Strawberry Shortcube is a charming and cutesy dessert, with the portion of a cube perfect for one. The light and fluffy cream pairs beautifully with the sweet jam, adding a smooth, velvety texture that complements the cake’s delicate flavor. It is a simple yet satisfying treat, earning a solid 9/10 for its perfect balance of flavors and soft cake.
