Driscoll’s, a family-run global market leader in fresh berries, partners with Singapore’s well-known artisanal bakery, Tiong Bahru Bakery (TBB) to launch a berry-inspired limited-time only seasonal menu. It comprises 4 berry-themed items: 3 berry desserts and a refreshing berry soda drink using Driscoll’s finest raspberries, blackberries and blueberries.

These low-in-calories berries help add some tartness to the desserts and give it a slight boost in fibre and antioxidants.

Blackberry Lemon Curd Cruffin ($7)

A huge flaky and buttery croissant pastry which is filled with rich blackberry confit and zesty lemon curd. It has a sweet lemon glaze and it is topped with a plump Driscoll’s blackberry. The tangy filling helps to cut through the sweetness of the lemon glaze. It is good for sharing.
Raspberry Matcha Tart ($10.50)

It is made with a Sablée tart shell which is filled with matcha tea–soaked sponge layer along with a generous dollop of matcha and white chocolate chantilly. It is topped with a crown of perfectly ripe raspberries. It is a light dessert to have with a cup of coffee or tea. With the ongoing matcha trend, I believe that most would choose this over the other 2 berry-themed pastries.
Red Berry éclair($8)

This pastry is made with Tiong Bahru Bakery’s classic éclair which is filled with raspberry, blackberry and blueberry confit. It is layered with a vanilla chantilly and studded with Driscoll’s berries and finished with lime.
Blueberry, Vanilla, Kaffir Lime Soda ($8.50)

This soda drink comprises Tiong Bahru Bakery’s homemade blueberry and vanilla cordial, topped with soda and elevated with kaffir lime. It is a refreshing drink to enjoy on warmer days. This is best paired with their savoury pastries or mains at Tiong Bahru Bakery.

All three pastries are well-balanced in flavours and are not too overly sweet. And my favourite out of the three berry-themed pastries is the Raspberry Matcha Tart.
