VUE, a modern rooftop grill and wine bar, has always been on my bucket list of restaurants to visit in Singapore. I finally had the chance to dine at this gorgeous restaurant yesterday evening and the dining experience was a memorable for me. And it is now officially one of my favourite rooftop dining restaurants in Singapore which I would love to make revisit again and again.
This restaurant is more than just the view.
VUE is located on the 19th floor or OUE Bayfront building. To get to this rooftop restaurant, you will have to enter via a special lift lobby near the main entrance of the building, close to the pick-up point. There will be a staff at the counter who will usher you to the lift and another security personnel in the lift to escort you up.
Once you head up to the 19th floor, you will have to walk down this long corridor before you reach the counter at the entrance of the restaurant. The restaurant is exactly how I envisioned it to be (based on the images I saw online) – very spacious and classy.
The restaurant overlooks Marina Bay and from here, you can get a beautiful iconic shot of the Marina Bay’s iconic skyline with Marina Bay Sands as the backdrop. In my opinion, this is where you can get the most beautiful shot of Singapore’s skyline with all the attractions in one snapshot.
Enjoy the view with some drinks at the Al Freso Bar
Dining here may be somewhat expensive because the prices aren’t that wallet-friendly either. In that case, you can actually choose to have a drink or two at their rooftop bar which is right next to the restaurant. You can head up for a cocktail in the evenings and enjoy the view over some nibbles with your date. It is pretty romantic to chill at the rooftop and catch up with each other as the sky turns dark. It’s also pretty windy up there.
It is best to book a table at the bar area even though walk-ins are allowed. The bartender told us that some nights maybe full so it is best to call in and reserve a table.
We had their mocktails and they tasted alright – nothing too fancy or unique about it.
VUE Bar and Grill’s Spring Menu
We were here to try their Spring menu, featuring the exquisite SILERE New Zealand Alpine Merino Lamb. This limited-time only menu is available from 28 March to 23 June 2025. There are a few options for each course and this includes vegan and vegetarian options as well.
3-course menu: $128++
4-course menu: $168++
5-course menu: $198++
Every dish was a hit for me and my dining partner. We enjoyed every single dish presented to us. The dishes are thoughtfully crafted and well-executed, using the finest ingredients. It’s hard to nitpick on the dishes as the flavours of the ingredients used, complemented very well with each other. The dish that most of the diners at our table highlighted was the risotto. The Arborio rice is al dente and it really soaked up all the flavours of the ingredients used.
I had the non-lamb dishes as I wanted to have something light that evening while my partner tried their lamb dishes. Below are some of the dishes we both tried at VUE.

They also serve us some Mignardise or bite-sized desserts at the end of the whole meal, after the dessert course.
Our Verdict
It is now one of the top favourite restaurants in Singapore as it has left quite a deep impression on me. It is not just about the view or ambience but also the food was splendid and up to expectations.

Prices at this restaurant are on the higher end. For more affordable dining options, you can check out their set lunch or ongoing promotions like the sunset dinner and late night dinner promo. You can also order simply a cocktail at the bar to enjoy the view or enjoy a couple of ala carte dishes. The full menu can be found on their website.
