Blue Bottle Coffee is finally here in Singapore and everyone seem to be really excited about this. Previously, they held coffee workshops here at LUMINE Singapore but this time, they are setting up a sit-down cafe within LUMINE Singapore at Raffles City. Besides coffee and pastries, you can shop for their merchandise too. So, what is the hype about this coffee brand and what is the menu like? Scroll along.
Story behind Blue Bottle Coffee
Blue Bottle Coffee was founded by James Freeman in Oakland, California, in 2002. Their main objective is to serve delicious coffee, roasted fresh and brewed to order and sourced from the finest, most sustainable coffee farms. Today, Blue Bottle is a global network of cafes in the US and Asia. The first U.S cafe is Hayes Valley Kiosk, San Francisco, CA (founded in 2005). And the first Asia cafe is located at Kiyosumi, Tokyo, Japan (founded in 2015). This outlet in Singapore at Raffles City marks their very first outlet in Southeast Asia.
From Beans to Coffee
Blue Bottle Coffee is sourced by their green coffee team from the finest, most sustainable coffee farms and served at peak freshness. As part of Blue Bottle’s commitment to sustainability, they pay a premium to ensure their suppliers can sustain their businesses and continue to invest in best-quality growing practices.
All of their coffees exceed specialty-grade standards. So you can expect quality coffees here which are brewed by their baristas. They roast the coffee beans to order at their own roasteries around the globe, and cup to ensure quality after every roast.
What are some of the Blue Bottle drinks available?

They offer drip coffee, cold brew, espresso-based drinks and their iconic NOLA (New Orleans-Style Iced Coffee, cold brewed with roasted chicory and blended with milk and organic cane sugar). There are also non-coffee drinks like Matcha Latte, Hot Chocolate, Kimono Sparkling Juices and Lemon Yuzu Fizz.
Coffee lovers can indulge in classic offerings such as Americano (S$7.50), Cappuccino (S$8), Latte (S$8.50) and Mocha (S$9.50). The full menu with prices can be found right at the end of this article.
The Cafe Experience

The new 135-square-metre café space is designed to be open and inviting, with no visual barriers, creating a natural flow between guests, baristas, and the café space. The interior has a warm, minimal aesthetic which is also carried throughout their products and spaces.
Merchandise

You can alos purchase their merchandise like the drinkwares, instant Espresso, Craft NOLA instant and other coffee accessories.

Pastries by Bakery Brera
