Universal Studios Singapore is Southeast Asia’s first and only Universal Studios theme park which features 7 different themed zones. Similar to other themeparks, the queue for popular rides can be long. So to skip the queue, you can purchase express ticket passes. The queues are even longer with the opening of Illumination’s Minion Land.

There are a total of 15 rides and 11 shows spread across the 7 immersive zones. We managed to cover some of the rides and shows. And here is our ratings for each of the rides and shows.
Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase (★ 7/10)
- An indoor Movie Special Effects Show ride where you’re supposed to help Elmo save the stolen spaghetti from the villain Macaroni the Merciless.
- Each cart holds 4 people.
- It’s very chill, nostalgic, and kid-friendly.
- A good break from intense rides, and the themed interior is super cute.
Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure (★ 9/10)
- This is our FAVOURITE RIDE in USS.
- You will have to make your way down the white water raft system with state-of-the art animatronics.
- Expect a thrilling white water drop with your circular raft will be tossed around on the water.
- This is a water ride where you must be prepared to get soaked.
- You can buy ponchos from the staff while queuing.
- The immersive audio and set design make you feel like you’re in Jurassic Park.
Lights, Camera, Action! (★ 9/10)
- This is a special effects show hosted by Steven Spielberg, showing how disaster scenes are filmed.
- Experience the special effects of rain, fire, strong winds, and flood.
- You might get wet if you stand in front!
Puss in Boots’ Giant Journey (★ 7/10)
- This is a family-friendly outdoor suspended coaster with gentle drops and turns.
- This is the world’s first Puss in Boots’ Giant Journey roller coaster where you can join Puss and Kitty on this anti-gravity, swashbuckling adventure atop a giant beanstalk.
- The roller coaster follows an adventurous story of Puss in Boots along the way.
- It is not as thrilling as a rollercoaster ride.
Revenge of the Mummy (★ 9/10)
- This is an indoor high-speed roller coaster in darkness.
- There are sharp turns, sudden drops (forward and backward), and creepy effects with fire and mummies.
- The interior is well-themed and spooky.
- It is a MUST-RIDE if you love thrilling rides.
TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle (★ 8/10)
- This is a Hyper-realistic 3D thrill ride where you become a freedom fighter in the ultimate 3D battle against the forces of evil.
- Unfortunately queued once for close to an hour and the ride broke down… had to queue again but was worth the wait!
- The interior and story line for the ride are pretty good too.
- 100% recomended for those who likes a good balance of thrill and fun.
Despicable Me Minion Mayhem (★ 7/10)
- A motion simulator ride which is similar to Transformers 4D ride but Minion-themed.
- The seats tilt and bounce while you follow a Minion storyline in Gru’s lab where humans are turn into Minions.
- It is quite kid-friendly and the visuals are pretty cute.
Shrek 4-D Adventure (★ 8/10)
- A 4D short film where your seat moves, with water sprays and air puffs for effects.
- This is super nostalgic for Shrek fans.
- Great for families and friends who needs a break from thrilling rides.
Accelerator (★ 4/10)
- This is a spinning teacup-style intergalactic space ride.
- Feel the centrifugal force created as your pod turns and accelerates.
- It will send you spinning in unexpected directions.
- It gets rather repetitive and dizzy after a while.
- It is not very fun unless you’re with young kids.
Enchanted Airways (★7/10)
- This is an outdoor roller coaster that goes at a pretty high speed where you will encounter a merry cast of fairy tale creatures – from the Three Little Pigs to the Big Bad Wolf, from Gingy to Pinocchio.
- This junior roller coaster serves destinations throughout the World of Shrek!
- There are no big drops but it moves really fast.
- Good for those who want a mild roller coaster experience.
Silly Swirly (★ 3/10)
- Go on a mini hot air balloon ride that slowly spins you around while lifting you up for a view of Minion Land
- It is an outdoor seated spinning ride which is slow and pretty chill.
Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN (★ 9/10)
- This ride is designed for all adrenaline junkies.
- Expect fast speeds, sudden drops, and sharp turns on the red-track rollercoaster ride.
- It feels like you’re flying through the air with your legs dangling free, but it doesn’t go upside down.
- This is an adrenaline-pumping ride without any flips.
Battlestar Galactica: CYLON (★ 10/10)
- This high speed turbulent roller coaster ride on the blue track is way more intense and thrilling than the red tracks.
- Get ready for an exhilarating adventure as you twist, turn, rise, drop and race towards your sworn enemy.
- Your legs will hang, and you go upside down multiple times.
- Perfect for those who enjoy high-adrenaline rides
