Scalp Treatment featuring the Scalp Rescue Kit: Auréa Rejuvenate
I visited kim robinson to experience the KR Rescue System™ products myself. I tried the scalp treatment using their Scalp Rescue Kit. My assigned scalp therapist was Lucas and my stylist was Ronald.
They offer several kinds of scalp treatments. Lucas recommended me to try Auréa Rejuvenate which is for thinning and fragile hair. This treatment would help strengthen the hair and improve the scalp health.
15-step Luxury Hair and Scalp Treatment
Combining advanced trichology, botanical therapy, and modern technology, the treatment addresses the early signs of scalp aging, weakened follicles, dehydration, and environmental stress. Powered by KR’s professional salon-grade innovations — including Clay Cleanse (to detoxify), Scalp Cleanse (to rebalance), Miracle Mask (to repair), and Amino Mask (to fortify) — each step is enhanced with infusion technology that drives nutrients deep into the follicles where they are needed most.
HRF Scalp Cleanse: This gentle daily clenease is designed to restor balance without stripping moisture from the scalpe. It helps calm irritation, reduce flakes and support healthy roots with panthenol. It also contains green tea extract which helps in clarifying the scalp. It also contains of biotin which promotes hair growth and reduce product buildup and hair loss.
Amino Mask: This hask mask helps to strengthen the hair with copper tripeptide-1, hydrolysed wheat protein and an amino acid complex. It improves hair resilience and flexibility without weighing the hair down.
The scalp treatment starts with a scalp consultation where the therapist would do a scalp analysis using a device to understand your current scalp health.
The hair follicles on my scalp were mostly clogged and hair seems to be rather oily. There’s also some redness in my scalp.
After the scalp treatment, this is how my scalp looks like. The scalp looks alot cleaner and less inflamed. It was quite impressive considering that the scalp treatment was less than an hour and the scalp turns out to be looking really clean.
During the scalp treatment, they also serve beverages as well. They have a menu of beverages to choose from.
The Scalp Treatment
The treatment was done one of their hair and scalp treatment rooms. You will be laying down on the comfy chair throughout the treatment. The treatment roughly lasted about 1.5 hours and this includes styling of hair after the treatment.
The 15-step treatment starts off with a relaxing head, neck and shoulder massage which helps to relax the scalp. This is followed by the scalp brush exfoliation, deep cleanse and HRF scalp cleanse. This is followed by the shampooing step, using the KR Rescue System™ products. The scalp is gently washed using Clay Cleanse, a mineral-rich purifying shampoo that absorbs excess oil, removes toxins, and restores scalp clarity. This deep yet gentle cleanse leaves the scalp refreshed and perfectly prepared for treatment absorption.
The treatment is enhanced with an advanced Nano-Mist Machine, which releases ultra-fine molecular mist that allows active ingredients to penetrate deeply into the scalp and hair shaft. This technology amplifies hydration and maximises nutrient absorption.
Another machine they use is the Aqua Punch system. It delivers micro-infusions of hydration and nutrients into the scalp. This revitalising step stimulates microcirculation and enhances the delivery of essential nutrients directly to the follicles.
The experience concludes with professional hairstyling by a kimrobinson stylist, finishing the hair with KR SOS Spray from the KR Rescue System.
My Verdict
Overall, the experience was a rather relaxing one. The machines can be a little loud so providing customers with ear plugs would be great during the treatment. Overall, my hair felt alot smoother and most importantly, the scalp is well-cleansed after the treatment.
