One of the popular non-invasive aesthetic treatments right now is probably ONDA Pro which can used on the face and body. The main function is help reduce fat in the face and body area.

I was invited to try their ONDA Pro treatment for the face. Their medispa is located on the 7th floor of International Building. It is relatively easy to find the location. It is just a 10-minute walk from Orchard MRT station. You can take the underpass from Orchard MRT station that leads to Shaw Centre or the underpass from Wheelock to Shaw Centre. International building is located right beside the Shaw Centre. Take the lift up to 7th floor and turn to your right and walk down. You will be able to find their unit.

I was asked to fill up a particulars form with my personal details and contact information. Before the treatment, you can raise any skin concerns or goals which you might have. They will come up with customised treatment plan for you to consider. They do not hardsell here.
Their most popular treatments is ONDA Pro. I decided to try their ONDA Pro Face as I was hoping to reduce the appearance of my double chin and also to do some skin lifting and tightening on my face.
ONDA Pro Face Treatment
Onda Pro Face is a non-invasive, medical-grade treatment using patented Coolwaves™ microwave technology to lift, contour, and tighten sagging skin. It specifically targets the face and double chin. it delivering energy into the subcutaneous fat and dermis to help reduce facial fat and boosts collagen production. There is zero downtime for this treatment and the results are semi-permanent.

The whole session for me lasted for about 30 minutes. It is includes cleansing of the face, ONDA Pro Face Treatment and cleansing of the face to remove the oil. The whole treatment end off with a moisturiser and sunblock application.
After cleansing the skin, the therapist applied the oil which is to be used specifically for this treatment. It helps to lubricate the skin.
The moment the probe touches my skin, I felt both the hot and cold sensation at the same time. It is a strange feeling but it was overall comfortable and there’s hardly any pain at all. When the probe goes over the jaw area, you can feel abit of soreness but other than that, there’s no discomfort at all.
After a good 20 minute, the ONDA Pro session ended and the therapist proceeded to cleanse my skin to remove the oil. She applied moisturiser and sunblock right after. Overall, it’s quite a fast, straightforward and comfortable treatment.
There have a vanity area where you tidy up your hair or touch up your make up before heading off for your next appointment. They also provide a drink and a warm dessert for you at the end of the treatment.
Verdict
Overall, it is a comfortable treatment at U aesthetics. It is suited for those who have a low pain tolerance level. It is definitely so much more tolerable than contouring treatments like Ulthera or Thermage.
While some results are visible in one session, a course of 4 to 6 sessions is often recommended for maximum effect. The session can be spaced weekly or bi-weekly. The results usually appear within 2 weeks.
ONDA Pro is generally safe, but do note that it is not suitable for those with active eczema, metallic implants or pacemakers in the treatment area. It is also not suitable for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
