Riding in style is made easy with Singapore’s new premium ride-hailing app called Li-nk. It is developed by Wolero, a leading limousine service provider in Singapore. Wolero has more than 10 years of on-ground experience in providing premium rides for business clients and executives.
Previously, you have to call or contact premium limousine services directly to hire luxurious transport service. But right now, you can do so through the Li-nk app.
With this app, you can hail for a premium ride and be chauffeured in luxury cars like Mercedes, BMW and Audi. Unlike the regular ride-hailing apps, you will be able to book professional chauffeurs for a premium ride.
What are some of the Li-nk app features?
The app is free to download and allows easy booking of chauffeur limousine service for both business and personal needs.
Currently, there are two premium ride options to choose from: a four-seater sedan or a six-seater MPV.
The four-seater sedan fleet comprises of Mercedes-Benz E Class and S-Class, BMW 5 and 7 Series and Audi A6; while the six-seater MPV fleet consists of Toyota Vellfire and Alphard, Mercedes Viano and V-class.
You can also make a pre-booking from one hour to six days in advance.
Is it very expensive?
When I hailed a ride from The Fullerton Hotel to Jurong East, it costs about $49. The prices do fluctuate every now and then, depending on the demand for such rides. It is probably twice as expensive as regular taxi fares.
What are the perfect occasions to engage in such premium rides on Li-nk App?
Apparently, it is rather common for businesses like banks to such premium services for their clients and business partners. This is a great option for business associates who are ferrying clients across the island for business meetings. It is also great for celebrating special occasions like birthdays or weddings when you just want to alleviate your experience with a premium service.
Our verdict
I had the opportunity to test out this new ride-hailing app for a review. It was definitely quite an experience to be sitting in a luxury car and be driven by an experienced chauffeur.
The app is easy to use but it took a while for the system to confirm a driver for my trip. I did not know which luxury car was assigned to me but if you have a preference, you can state under the requests section on the booking page.
The fare price was $49.30 for a ride from The Fullerton hotel to Jurong East.
My chauffeur came ten minutes earlier to pick me up. I also received an SMS notification of his arrival as well as the details to my destination.
I happened to be sitting on a black Audi A6.
Though there aren’t any amenities provided in the car except for bottled water and towelettes, it is overall a comfortable and safe ride. There are a couple of magazines placed in the front pocket seat. It would be cool if passengers can play their own music through the car’s sound system though.
These chauffeurs are not your everyday taxi uncles but experienced drivers who have driven high profile clients before. They know exactly when to strike up a conversation or not.
