These days, I just find myself scrolling through TikTok’s For You page just for some self-entertainment. And whenever I watched a video that cracked me up, I could not help but to share it with my partner. It’s fun watching hilarious videos together with your friends or family member and laugh it out. If you’re having a bad day at school or work, watching some of these light-hearted videos that cracked you up can really boost your feel-good hormones.
You don’t need to have fantastic video editing skills to be famous on TikTok. All you need is just a phone, a phone tripod and some creativity.
Here are my 5 funny TikTok account picks. (It happens that all of them are guys. Don’t judge.)
Dave FitDad Ogleton (TikTok: @fitdadceo)
Need some ideas to crack a lame joke with your friends? Head to Dave’s TikTok account for a list of original cold joke ideas. His TikTok video feed is pretty consistent, using the same music background and filming style. Some of his jokes are pretty hilarious and not to worry, they are family-friendly jokes.
3FORTIORI (TikTok: @3fortiori)
I recently discovered this account on my feed and their recent TikTok video went viral because of the silly prank which this music duo has pulled off. Apparently, this pair is an independent American Hip hop duo who produces their own music and has collaborated with several renown artists. Looks like rapping and playing pranks are both of their forte.
Ian Jeevan (TikTok: @ianjeevan)
Ian Jeevan is that classic Singaporean dude who creates comical videos that are relatable to most Singaporeans. He spins off funny daily life stories of students and teachers based off on his work experience as a relief teacher. His role-playing skills are simply superb as he is able to mimic real-life characters really well. If you’re a teacher or a student, you will find his content amusing.
Alvin Philemon (TikTok: @alvin.phil)
There’s just something really amusing when you see a non-Singaporean rattling off in a perfect Singlish. It is already entertaining watching an African dude speaking like any typical Chinese Singaporean and filming videos in his humble HDB flat. It is even funnier when he speaks with that ‘ah beng’ slang.
Moses Wong (TikTok: @moseswck)
This Malaysian guy simply nails it each time with his creative jokes and filming styles. His storytelling style is very direct and right-into-your-face kind of approach. That made him more relatable to his Singaporean and Malaysian audience.

I may not create content that makes people laugh but I make useful content for people who just want to know where to find an interesting place to dine or hang out. Follow me on @deeniseglitz on TikTok for more of such videos.
