This is Singapore’s first and only cave dining restaurant and it is located right inside the latest attraction, Rainforest Wild ASIA at Mandai Wildlife Reserve. It is operated by one of Singapore’s leading restaurant group, TungLok Group. Cavern restaurant will be opened to public from 12 March 2025 onwards, in conjunction with the official opening of Rainforest Wild ASIA.
How to get to Cavern?
You can access the restaurant via the souvenir shop near the entrance of Rainforest Wild ASIA. Customers do not require any entrance tickets to dine at the restaurant. Diners do not have access to the attractions within the adventure park too.
The restaurant is housed witn an artificially-constructed cave inspired by the Mulu caves in Sarawak. The Mulu caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also one of the largest and most intricate caves in Southeast Asia.
Cave-themed Dishes to try at Cavern Restaurant
The restaurant is helmed by Head Chef Sheng Lim, who worked at JAAN, CURE Concepts and CÉ LA VI Singapore. The menu features a curated cosmopolitan blend of International Western dishes.
You can find dishes like Pulled Pork Tao ($22), Crystal Cave Salad ($22) and mains like Grilled Octoper Skewer ($22) and Stone Age Burger ($20).
We managed to try several dishes on the menu before the opening and I personally find that the food is decent and comparable to most cafes in Singapore. The dishes offered are more for sharing among a table of 2 or more diners. The restaurant is leaning towards communal-style dining as it is afterall, located within a tourist attraction and it catered more for tourists.
Crystal Cave Salad ($22)

Stone Age Burger ($20)

Caveman’s Meat Skewer ($38)

The highlight of our meal is actually the desserts. Every diner at our table agreed that the desserts were actually the star of the show. I would recommend their Balinese Dark Chocolate Tart ($18) which is a pretty well-crafted chocolate tart that is served with a dollop of chantilly cream.
There’s also a bar within the restaurant that offers cocktails and other alcoholic drinks such as beers.
How big is the restaurant?
The restaurant can accomodate up to 150 guests at one time. It is pretty spacious and it can be used as an event space. The vibes of the restaurant is immaculate and I would not mind coming back to dine in this unique setting.

Diners have no access to other parts of the cave unless they have tickets to Rainforest Wild ASIA.
