It’s been quite some time ever since I last shop on iHerb as I was busying with work and travel, that I spent most of my time out either in the office or attending events. Kitchen cooking playtime has reduced greatly but right now, I am trying to go back to my ‘chef Dee’ mode knowing that I had to eat right again to attain my fitness goals.
It wasn’t a huge iHerb haul this time as I have already tried the best selling items on iHerb and discovered what’s really ideal for my current lifestyle right now. I’ve selected a few other popular food items on iHerb to include them into my new recipes. Check out these popular picks!
I’ve tried the other brand of coconut sugar before and is really in love with it. It goes well with practically everything because of its caramelized taste. But I still go easy on the use of coconut sugar because it is still after all SUGAR.
I eat Brazil nuts for its selenium contain which is often found in seafood. Since I am still sticking to my vegetarian diet, I have to eat a wider variety of food to ensure that my body is equipped with the necessary nutrients.
I’ve tried this whole grain mix to make pancakes and it turns out FANTASTIC! It contains the right proportion of organic multigrain flour blend, baking soda, cane sugar and sea salt. It makes it alot easier to make fluffly pancakes without having to start premixing the dry ingredients from scratch. They even have a pancake and waffles recipes printed on its packaging.
This is the much raved about creamy peanut butter on iHerb. It’s very smooth and creamy. But it is not entirely peanuts as it also contains dried cane syrup, palm fruit oil and salt.
Annie’s Naturals, Natural Roasted Red Pepper Dressing, 8 fl oz (236 ml)
Annie’s Naturals best-selling Ketchup got my attention first but since I didn’t like the taste of ketchup and found no use for it, I decided to try its salad dressings. It was good but not my favourite.
I love making porridge with quinoa and it is best substitute for rice. In addition to Chia seeds, quinoa is another kitchen staple in my household. I am looking at trying out new recipes and dishes that uses quinoa. If you have a recommendation, do share it with me!
I was introduced to Giovanni via my good friend, Xue Ying who got me to try out her bottle of Giovanni hair serum. I’ve yet to try out their invigorating shampoo but their conditioner was rather good as it really smoothens out the fly aways at my root ends.
