The other night I was invited to attend the launch part of La Roche-Posay, Serozinc on behalf of Ana Shell Media. Serozinc is the first oil blotter mist which purifies and soothes any skin’s surface irritations. It was held at Star Loft at The Star Vista and they invited many local beauty influencers and a few Mediacorp artiste who were also there to grace the event.
La Roche-Posay’s Serozinc has already made a wave in the beauty scene with many raving reviews of how the product helps with oil and sebum control as well as reduce skin inflammations. I guess what is even more amazing is the number of ingredients that each aerosol can of Serozinc contains to bring about these aforementioned benefits. It only contains three ingredients! It has their iconic thermal spring water, sodium chloride and zinc sulphate. And the key ingredient of these three is zinc sulphate because the trace mineral, zinc itself is essentially crucial for alot of the enzymatic and chemical reactions taking place in our body systems. Without zinc, our body is unable to function efficiently and thus would result in dry skin, hair loss and acne.
It is important to also include zinc into your everyday diet and some of the foods which are rich in zinc include, beef, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, lentils, garbanzo beans, cashews, and quinoa. And a great way to enjoy all these zinc-rich foods is to mix them in a salad bowl and consume it fresh.
That explains the presence of the salad bar. At the event itself, we get to make our own DIY salad jars using all the ingredients available at the salad bar. They also included zinc-rich food like garbanzo beans and pumpkin seeds!
After the mingling and salad session, we were ushered into the loft where a panel of special guests would be answering some of our questions and sharing some of their beauty tips and routines.
For that evening, we had Dr.Lynn Chiam, Roseanne Tang, Shine Koh and Aloysius Pang at the panel for that evening. They shared about their concerns with acne and trouble skin and how Serozinc could help in combating these skin concerns.
Before the whole event was over, they also asked everyone at the event to spray Serozinc onto their faces at the same time! It was my first time trying Serozinc and it is indeed very soothing. It could also be sprayed over makeup to set the makeup. You could also use it as a toner after cleansing the skin.
Get Serozinc at a special introductory price of $9.90 (50ml) and $18.90 (150ml) in an exclusive pre-launch online on Lazada from 21 October 2016.
From 28th October, Serozinc will be available at major pharmacies like Watsons, Guardian, Unity, selected hospital pharmacies and Derma Centre (Westgate #02-33).
