Sun’s out and the summer holidays are finally here! Now, I finally got some time for myself to indulge in some good reads. Words from wise men feeds and replenishes the soul. Don’t you think so?
I haven’t been catching up much with reading actually but I was interested in getting my hands on this health and wellness book which was highly recommended by several other health buffs online. The book is titled, ‘The 80/10/10 Diet’ by Dr.Douglas N. Graham. Since I’m venturing into vegetarian and the raw vegan lifestyle, I thought that this might be a good read to help me find out more about how I could vary my meals and diet to lead this lifestyle.
I figured that I might have a tough time finding this book in the large bookstores around Singapore. So, I thought I might as well purchase it online. Who knows, it might be slightly cheaper too!
I was introduced to this online bookstore called NoQ store a month ago so I decided to browse through their selection of books and see if I could search for this holy grail for Raw Vegans. Boy, was I surprise to be able to find this book at NoQ store as I thought that their selection of books was quite limited. On the contrary, this online bookstore actually carries many titles and various genres of books, even stationery, reading accessories and gift items too! Seriously, who needs to visit Kinokuniya when you’ve got an online mega bookstore and select your favourite title right at the comfort of your home?
In addition to The 80/10/10 Diet book, I also purchased a classic book titled, ‘The Little Prince’ by Antoine De Saint-Exupery. It is one of those timeless classics that I could reread over and over again.
Alright folks, it’s time to make myself some smoothies as I lie comfortably in my couch to catch up with some reading! I share my penny of thoughts about The 80/10/10 Diet in my upcoming blog post so do keep a look out for it!
