We all know the trick to create long spidery lashes with eyelash curlers, fake eyelashes or fibre-containing mascaras but it’s a hassle to remove all those eye make up especially the eye glue (if you know what I mean!). So some of us chose to go for eyelash perming or eyelash extensions and rely less on makeup to achieve the dolly eye look. Eyelash perming keeps your lashes curled right up and it extends your lashes in the right direction. However, it could only keep your lashes perked up for 3 to 4 months before it starts to droop down. And as for eyelash extensions, it sounds like a perfect way to get those natural-looking long lashes that looks as if you are just blessed to be born with such lashes. But it isn’t a very comfortable feeling to have plasticky hair like extensions glued to your own lashes.
Needless to say, the best way of achieving natural-looking long thick lashes is to use eyelash serums that would boost the growth of the lashes. This was what the product claims to do if you stick to its directions of use where you would use the applicator brush to apply the serum along the base of the upper and lower eyelashes, just as how you would apply with an eyeliner. Bathe your lashes follicles with these vital nutrients found in the serum before bedtime to boost the growth of your lashes.
I seriously didn’t think that this product would work because I didn’t notice any difference after using it for 5 days. However, I did not lose faith in the product and continued using it.
I’ve been using for about 2 weeks on a daily basis for now and what I notice is that my lashes appear thicker and maybe a 0.1 cm longer. To me, I felt that my lashes look much more volumized than before, especially my lower lashes. Ah, all you need is some patience here!
A word of caution
As with all other eye products, do take extra care when applying the serum by making sure that the eye area is clean before applying. You wouldn’t want the applicator brush to be contaminated with bacteria that would cause you to have eye irritations.
If you have really thin, short and sparse eyelashes and wanted to plump them up, this product would be suitable for you. Or if you just want to have healthier-looking lashes, nourish your lashes with this serum that contains the essential vitamins and other nutrients that could ‘beautify’ the lashes.
As for me, I will still continue to soak the roots of my lashes with this serum. Who knows? My lashes might turn out to be so strong that when I bat my lashes up, it could lift up the weight of a toothpick.
