Biore UV Aqua Rich Whitening Cream : An Essential Step to Achieve Fairer Skin

Have you always wanted to achieve a fairer skin? I’ve been receiving several emails from my readers about skin whitening products featured in my blog. Such products worked differently for each individual but overall, most whitening products could only help in lightening aging spots or balance out the skin tone to give it more shine and radiance. There isn’t really any products which could help you whiten your skin in a short amount of time unless, of course, you have been using whitening products on a regular basis to maintain or increase the fairness of the skin.

However, to really achieve a fairer skin, you first have to use sunscreen products with a reasonably high SPF to combat the harmful rays of the sun to decrease the production of melanin to prevent further darkening of the skin. Biore’s UV Aqua Rich Whitening Cream might be one product you are looking for which combines the effects of whitening and UV protection to aid in your quest to achieve a fairer and healthier-looking skin.

I was genetically born with a fair skin. All thanks to my Mum who has a really fair skin even til today. I used to love getting sun-tans to achieve that bronzy sporty look but the tan disappears after a couple of weeks. In no time, I will be back to my original skin tone. Please don’t envy me, even I couldn’t help myself from being fair.

Because of my fair skin, I need to ensure that my skin is well-protected from the skin as my skin burns really easily under the scorching hot sun. So it’s a bane for me if I leave the house with any sunscreen applied to my face. The sunscreen is one essential skincare product that I could never live without and it’s one of those things I could bring with me to a Survival island.

Before trying out the Biore UV Aqua Rich Whitening Cream, I was actually using Biore’s UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence on a daily basis. It’s one of those sunscreens which works best on my sensitive skin that feels really light on the skin and could be easily removed using a milk cleanser. Since this sunscreen works really well for me, I was a little hesitantly to switch to the UV Aqua Rich Whitening Cream as I was afraid that it might be too rich for my skin. But I turn out to be wrong because Biore UV Aqua Rich Whitening Cream has this weightless finish with Biore’s breakthrough Aqua Rich Technology that allows the cream formula to take on a watery-light texture that is non-greasy and non-sticky.

What I like about this product:

  •  It has a mild fresh and fruity fragrance which makes the application process an enjoyable one.
  • With a high SPF of 50, this formula has superior long-lasting double UV block to protect the skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays.
  • It not only whitens and protects the skin from UV rays but it also moisturize and hydrates the skin with hyaluronic acid and citrus extracts ( orange, grapefruit and lemon)
  • The nozzle at the opening of the tube allows the UV cream to be discharged easily on the fingertips or palms in minute amounts.

Though the cream formula is rather light in texture, I still prefer to use Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence on a daily basis because I spent most of the times indoor and I felt there isn’t a need for me to use a sunscreen that is heavyweight in UV protection on a day-to-day basis. However, supposedly if I do head out to a beach or travel to countries with a hot and sunny climate, I would use this UV Aqua Rich Whitening Cream for maximum protection against UV rays. And ladies, don’t forget to apply an adequate amount of sunscreen on your neck and chest areas which are exposed to the sun as well! UV rays can cause damage in the DNA of the skin cells which leads to the aging of the skin too. So, never leave the house without sunscreen!

Beauty tip of the week: Combat the sun rays with a good sunscreen to maintain a healthy, fair and youthful looking skin.

Biore UV Aqua Rich Whitening Cream is now available in all leading pharmacies and selected supermarkets and hypermarkets from 16 June 2013. It is sold at a retail price of SGD $18.90 for a pack size of 33 grams.
