Love devouring meat like a lion ripping meat the bones?
For all meat-lovers, this is where you can satisfy your cravings for some finger-lickin’ ribs marinated in flavours and spices which would further whey up your appetite for more.
Caution: Looking at the pictures which will just aggravate your hunger.
Welcome to the home of Sticky bones. Right here at Morganfield’s, the people are definitely committed to work hard to serve their best in Singapore. Within 6 months to their opening, they had came up with a new tantalizing menu to get all Singapore BBQ rib lovers smile with joy, while licking onto the sticky pork rib bones.
Before licking onto some sticky bones, enjoy some soup and appetizers at the start of the meal.
So here I was enjoying myself to some food and company with a bunch of other bloggers while earnestly concentrating my sense of smell, sight and taste to analyse the bursting flavours of the food. That day was one of those days where I turned carnivore, breaking my usual semi-vegan diet.
Lobster Bisque SGD $9.90
In every spoonful of the highly viscous and creamy lobster bisque, there is this burst of concentrated seafood flavour which as if it’s personally tailored for seafood lovers. Since this highly-seasoned soup is rather heavy and thick, you might want to dip some toastd baguette slices served together with the soup for a more balanced taste.
Mushroom Soup SGD$8.90
How could anyone resist his freshly homemade mushroom soup which is nicely textured with generous amount of mushroom chunks? This classic soup proves to be a favourite among the bloggers that night. Fresh homemade soup always outbeats canned processed soup.
Summer Salad SGD$15.90
The heat is up once again in Singapore so chomp up more fruits like watermelon to keep your body hydrated. I never knew that watermelon chunks could be toss into a bowl of greens like cucumber, tomatoes, mixed lettuce and Kalamata olives with a dash of summer dressing which makes a wholesome and healthy bowl of salad for this Summer. For me, anything that is green and raw tastes good.
Pop Corn Pork SGD$8.90
A good starter or sides for sharing with the diners at the table could be this Pop corn pork, which is pork cubes marinated with Morganfield’s secret spice mix. These deep-fried Pop corn pork is served with homemade Garlic Aioli and BBQ Ranch sauce which is sure to leave you craving for more. If KFC’s Popcorn chicken tasted good, this Pop Corn pork tasted even better. But since it’s deep-fried, do take note of how many times your hand reaches out to the basket of Pop corn pork.
Grilled Vegetable Sandwich, SGD $19.90
This sandwich has to be one of my favourite dishes here at Morganfield’s simply because I’m a sandwich-lover and semi-vegan or semi-vegetarian-to-be. The main ingredient that excites my tastebuds the most is the grilled bell peppers. It was perfectly grilled to slightly caramelized the outer layer of the bell peppers. Together with zucchini, mushrooms, Cheddar and Feta cheese sandwiched between cripsy grilled Panini bread, it’s just the perfect dish for the herbivores or vegetable-lovers like myself.
Pan Fried Sea Bass $26.90
If you are a ‘fishy’-sort of person who is into fishes that are packed with omega-3 fatty acids, you could opt for this Pan Fried Sea Bass fillet topped with creamy and buttery Hollandaise sauce. It’s served with Pilaf rice which is a fragrant rice slightly scented with herbs and spices. The pilaf rice here is slightly different from the usual pilaf rice which is heavily infused with the aroma from the herbs and spices. Here, the rice only carried a hint of the aromatic herbs and spices.
Herb Roasted Chicken SGD 21.90
For main course, a lower calorie option in their new menu would be the herb roasted chicken where the chicken is specially marinated with a unique blend of herbs and yoghurt before putting into the oven. For the sides, you have red skin mashed potatoes, garden veggies and Morgan’s House gravy to go with the chicken. I was pleasantly surprised by how tender and flavourful the chicken meat tasted. So what’s the trick? Use yoghurt to marinate the chicken to tenderize the meat. It was indeed cooked to a juicy perfection.
Now, let’s come to the main course where all of us prepared to gorge ourselves with meat. Wait, not all of us – maybe just the men.

The platter of meat and seafood was pretty stunning as it was ridicously huge. I reckon that it could satisfy at least 4 to 5 person’s stomachs.
When the next platter came, everyone was slightly taken aback. At the back of our minds, everyone was probably thinking how we could swipe everything off the plate. Wouldn’t it be a waste if we don’t?

The aftermath.

It’s unexpectedly the homemade corn bread muffin which was what I need to balance out the savoury taste of the meat. I never knew corn muffin could taste this good.
