1) Superb Image Quality for an Entry-level DSLR

Canon EOS 760D has a 24.2-megapixel resolution which is comparable to the more advanced DSLR for semi-professionals like Canon 80D. This is great especially if you want to shoot in RAW format and process your pictures later with a photo editing software. And with the DIGIC 6 image processor, your images are processed more intelligently, removing any noise which may mar the image. It’s Canon’s latest proprietary processor which is what makes images taken by a Canon camera looks vibrant and sharp. It’s also one of the reasons why I love Canon cameras too.

The Canon 760D has included features like the Top LCD Panel and a Quick control dial with Multi-function lock switch which are also found in semi-pro DSLRs. It’s good for beginners to get acquainted with this camera and get familiar with the camera systems before advancing into more serious photography.

3) Shooting an HDR video at 60 FPS (720p)

You can produce a high-quality video which is looked as good as those professionally-shot videos you see on YouTube. Shooting at 60 frames per second also allows you to create those smooth slow-motion and still videos that you see in the movies.

The HDR movie feature also helps reduce overexposure in very bright scenes. The digital zoom feature is also enabled while shooting live and this extends the range of the lens from approximately 3x to 10x.

Whenever I purchase a camera, I would go for those cameras which a flip screen as this allows me to take selfies, video myself and take shots from various angles. I’ve always found this feature very attractive in Canon cameras which give you this flexibility in rotating your screen and view it from any angle. Their touch screen feature also allows users to adjust settings, such as focus selection and shutter speed quickly. You don’t have to waste time fidgeting with the buttons just to adjust to the right setting. Photo opportunity can emerge anytime and you just want to get the right shot at the right time quickly before you miss the opportunity.

5) Hybrid CMOS AF III system features rapid autofocusing

Unlike other photographer enthusiasts, I prefer the camera to do the necessary work for me while I just focus on framing my subject and taking it from the best angle possible. I’m one lazy photography enthusiast but with the current Canon’s technology like their Hybrid CMOS AF III system, I can totally rely on the camera’s intelligence to get the best image for me. It’s an advanced autofocus technology to enhance the focusing speed for Live View photography and movie shooting. It may not be as smooth as semi-pro DSLR like Canon 70D or 80D but the AF ability is pretty good for an entry-level DSLR.
