Feet Haven @ Upper Bukit Timah : Shiok Body Massage

One of the best ways to treat your body of temple well is to allocate time for your body to rest. If resting, sleeping and meditation aren’t enough for you, then maybe a good body or foot massage would help do the trick. I’m someone who truly enjoys massages because it really lifts up my mood, improves blood circulation and reduces water retention in my body. And my recent 60-minutes body massage at Feet Haven was super shiok.

Previously, I’ve tried their foot reflexology massage over at their Serangoon outlet so I thought maybe I could try out their body massage at their latest outlet at Upper Bukit Timah. It is located right opposite Bukit Timah Plaza, which is about a 10 to 15 minutes walk from Beauty World MRT. Their third outlet looks a little more chic but it is still considered quite minimalistic. It is more like a no-frills boutique spa which focuses on providing quality body massages and foot reflexology performed by senior and experienced masseuse. So if you are just looking for a proper place for a decent massage and nothing else fancy, this could be the place you are looking for.

I enjoyed my 60-minute shiok body massage in the spacious couple room which has a shower room attached to it. If you don’t like having body oil rubbed onto your skin, you can opt for a massage without the use of oil.

My masseuse was great and she went the extra mile to customise a massage session that focuses on the tight spots o my legs and shoulders. She uses a generous amount of lemongrass massage oil on my body and I like the way she kneads the muscle tensions away. She was very polite and understanding as well. As I do face some water retention problems in my legs, she uses lymphatic drainage strokes to drain out the lymphatic fluids. I would definitely drop by again as the masseuse is really skilful and the rates are quite reasonable as well.
