The ‘Healthier’ Foundation and Concealer for Your Skin

Untitled

How to keep your skin looking heathy? Can makeup products like foundation and concealer get any ‘healthier’?  One of the best ways to nourish your skin is to apply nourishing ingredients onto your skin. Bourjois takes their products up to a notch by introducing foundation and concealer with a vitamin-infused formula. It not only make your skin look even and glowy but it also injects nourishing vitamins into your skin.

Vitamin C – Anti-fatigued effect

Vitamin B5 – Revitalising action

Vitamin E – Anti-oxidant action

Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Foundation

This long-lasting foundation provides as up to 16 hours of coverage. It has a thinner consistency as compared to other liquid foundations which have a thicker formula but it does give a medium coverage. It does help to even out the skin tone but it doesn’t exactly cover up a pimple scar or other blemishes that effectively.

It has a semi-matte and ultra-lightweight finish so it feels as if you have anything applied to your bare skin. Because of its watery consistency, it does help to keep the skin looking hydrated. If you are looking for a light-weight foundation and provides a natural and healthy-looking glow, this is the type of foundation you are looking for. It would be great for those skin which didn’t need much coverage as well.

I apply the foundation using a beauty blender which gives an even application of the product onto the skin. It was easy to apply and blend out but I just wish that it has a better coverage to cover up my skin flaws.

It comes in 6 different shades which are pretty close to the skin colour of most Asians. The foundation shade I’ve chosen for myself is 52 Vanilla.

 Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Concealer

This concealer has spherical powders and light-reflecting pigments. Similar to the foundation, the concealer formula is also quite thin so it doesn’t produce that cakey effect on the skin. It comes in 3 shades and I’m using 51 Light.

From the picture below, you can see that the concealer do provide some coverage but its coverage ability is not high. It merely helps to lighten the skin tone. The size of the bottle is way smaller than the foundation bottle but I prefer it this way because you don’t really need much of a makeup product anyway. I actually like makeup products that come in minimal and small packaging.

Both Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Foundation ($29.90) (30ml each)  and Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Concealer ($17.50) (7.8ml)  are available at all major Watsons and Departmental Stores.
