I’ve been very troubled lately. Not over my job or money but my delicate skin which was once clear of acne. Recently, the pores have been clogged and there were tiny bumps all over my face which made my skin looked rather rough. I didn’t even dare to put any makeup on my face.
Worse still, the problem tend to reoccur after each facial. Each extraction process was painful but necessary to extract out the white heads which could potentially cause pimple in the skin. However, after 3 days, the bumps start to appear again like an infectious disease that starts to spread. It was said that my clogged pores were due to my dehydrated skin which naturally aggravate the sebum glands to produce oil and sebum to ‘moisturize’ the skin. But excess sebum production worsens the skin condition. Whatever it is, I hope my skin could rebalanced itself.
It was my first time at Su Beau Derma Clinik, located at Novena Square Mall. They uses products from the D’Skin line. Before the treatment, they did a skin analysis for me to test out my moisture levels, sebum level and skin elasticity. From this analysis, they are better able to pin-point where the problem lies at.
True indeed, my skin is considered rather dehydrated as it falls in the dehydrated skin zone.
However, my sebum levels are normal.
As for my skin’s elasticity, it is pretty good and I hope it stays that way for a long time.
My skin is also in its balanced pH. So everything else looks good except for the hydration level of my skin.
I was lead into The Facial Room which is located right opposite to Su Beau Derma Clinik’s beauty counter.
I had a beauty therapist who explained each step to and share with me about how the facial could be customized to suit my skin condition.
The quality of products they used is superb. You could tell it just by the immediate positive effects the products have on your skin.
Since I was having troubled skin, I did a customized facial with them to unclog the pores. The extraction process was thorough as it was necessary for them to remove the whiteheads which are embedded right deep into the skin. Otherwise it might erupt into pimples.
Overall, I was impressed by how skilful these beauty therapists are. They do not rush into each step but diligently making sure each facial step does its function to improve the skin condition.
It’s been a week now since I’ve last done the facial and right now my skin is under control. Clogged pores still formed but they aren’t as many as before after they have tried to extract all the whiteheads out of my skin.
Looks like I need to pay extra attention to my skin. Stay trouble-free!
